I have an adult female Rat Terrier and a six month male rat terrier.
I didn't think it possible but while my female was in heat, they hung up. Can my female get pregnant? :::Yikes::: This was NOT planned.

Because both of your dogs are a smaller breed, yes, it is possible for them to have puppies when the male is six months old.

Those that told you no are wrong. If your adult female was in heat and hooked up with the 6 month old male, yes she can be and probably is pregnant. A six month old male is at sexual maturity, that is why they advise neutering at 6 months. If you are freaking out about this, you can always take the female to the vet and have the pregnancy termineated. Then it would be great if you would spay and neuter your pets. Good luck.

Well I dont want to say no but I'd give it a maybe. His sperm is not very mature yet but this doesnt mean anything. Please have your female checked out as soon as possible and get the dogs fixed as soon as you can afford to do it.

Why would you not think this was possible???? Hello in there! Now you have 63 days to wait and see. Hopefully, you can arrange to be with your girl and assist in pup delivery if required.

Yes, it is possible. Keep an eye on her and it wouldn't hurt to have a vet check. Good luck....

Well I am not really sure but I would take her to the vet to make sure. Or watch her closley to see if she comes in heat again. Mabe its not likely but nothing is impossible.
