Perhaps because many people fear and object to being in contact with the departed; hoverer, in our dreams we are more lenient, our prohibitions are asleep and we can safely experience all that the dream-land has to offer.

Sometimes a dream is just a dream.
Once I dreamed I drank the world's largest margarita. When I woke up there was salt around the toilet lid.

Dreaming about deceased people can mean they are trying to tell u a message. I know, I've been visited by a deceased relative and in my religion a deceased person who comes into ur dream is trying to communicate message to u.

Dreams are a mystery no one is able to understand. Sometimes we see things which we could never have come across in our waking moments, so to say that we dream of things we think of is not correct. Sometimes we do get messages which turn out to be true at some point of our life. So everyone is free to interpret dreams as they deem fit. There is absolutely no definite and correct theory to define it......

We are easily contacted in our sleep by loved ones and others that have passed over. The brain is quiet and in an altered state when asleep. My grandmother came to me in a dream near my grandfathers birthday and made me promise to see him the evening of his birthday. Long story short, I didn't go and he had a stroke, laid in the floor all night, hit his head, he was badly injured and not found until the next day. Yeah, they speak to us when they can get us quiet enough to listen to them.

my mother used to say that when dead people appear in your dream it's because they need your prayers, so pray for them and they will go away.

The only person I've ever dreamt of who is gone now is my mother, and every time it's been that we've gone shopping, and it's always when she was very young (not the age she should be for the time frame).

Dreams have no significance. If one dream had significance, then they would all have to have significance. They are merely our brains way of sorting out information recorded from the previous day. When deprived of dreams, we don't think clearly and we have a much harder time learning things.

Sometimes they represent aspects of your own personality that need attention. Whatever traits you might associate with that person is what you need to look at in yourself.

For example, I once dreamed of my mother - in her 'crazy'mode - yelling and screaming at me about a certain topic; and very simply, I had been giving myself a very hard time about that topic in waking life.

Once in awhile, I believe it can be a message; you should be able to tell the difference.

A lot of people say God does allow the spirits of the dead to visit people (one example is my dad (died in 1984) visited my mom the night before i got baptized and was interested for me to volunteer for the baptism of the dead so he could go into heaving

this is how our dead contact us because we are taught that they are in heaven and beyond our reach.

several Pagan religions respect dreams and the communication with loved ones....if you are actually interested you can look it up.

if you are able to be visited by your passed family in dreams, cherish it.
