He would go to heaven.... Do i think this is unfair? no.... do i think it sucks that people followed his false teachings? absolutely. but they made the choice to follow and not question what he was teaching....There are many churches today that teach false doctring... and people do not question it.
I don't follow a church or a pastor... I read the bible alone and let God lead me... thru word and voice and the holy Spirit....

The Arminians will confirm that the pastor must go to Heaven and the congregation will be in Hell due to the pastor's actions combined with their own. They will defend this with man's responsibility. God is fair, they chose their own destiny whether they listened to the pastor(?) or not.
The Calvinists will say that God guides the footsteps of both the regenerate and the unregenerate, so it's God's decree rather than the pastor's fault. They will defend this with His sovereignty. God is unfair and is glorified either way.
Either way the result is the same. I'll go with unfairness and a sovereign God. He did choose Israel as His people, they did nothing to earn salvation for themselves.

According to the christian religion he would be forgiven and it would be fair because God makes the decision when someone dies or not. AND people shouldn't follow anyone or anything blindly. They make their own decisions on what to believe so it is their own fault for going to hell.
However I must say I believe things differently because of spiritual experiences I have had in my life. God is not some old man in the sky, but rather the essence of being. Exodus 3:14-15 how God said "I AM that I AM." And if you read all of this correctly, you see that God is all things. And heaven and hell are ways of looking at the NOW existence, being good or bad. And what you do determines your own happiness. God is the now of being, not the old man in the sky. All there is NOW.

Well, he would be held accountable because he had the Bible. Maybe the people he was teaching were all reprobates (sinners knowingly sinning) and he stated Jesus didn't die for them~ only for the true believers, and that their saviour wasn't Jesus, because if they were false prophets, their saviour they were serving was the Devil! Who knows what enlightment he had?
As far as the car accident, and casuality-- People are responsible for their own souls, they have the Bible, what more can a man tell you?

If he repented and accepted Jesus as his Savior, then of course God has forgiven him. That is why Jesus died on the cross, for ALL sin. The pastor's sin is no greater or no worse than any other sins. A murderer who repents also is forgiven. God loves each and everyone and offers His gift and salvation to anyone who is willing to receive it. That is what His love is all about. It's people who can't forgive themselves or each other who find it difficult to accept God's forgiveness.
Also pride. God is fair and just, in that He gives everyone an equal opportunity to know Him and receive forgiveness.

I think the people on the bus are going to heaven, if they accepted what he preached beacuse all credit goes back to God. What the Pastor preached in the beginning was the truth. I don't know what to think about the Pastor he directed others to the truth but then turned away from the truth so.....
I don't know. God is a witness and disposer of all affairs.

If he repented I definitely think he would go to Heaven! No, I don't think this is unfair, as we are all sinners and if we all got what we deserved then none of us would have eternal life! That is why Jesus had to come to earth so that we could have eternal life!

You assume there is a hell, and that G od would not have any mercy on people who were falsly taught. That is a pretty big assumption on your part. And yes, I do think he would go to "heaven" or enlightenment, which is what I believe heaven is. And no, I dont think it would be unfair, but then again, I dont think there is a hell. So hey, go figure.... obviously many would disagree with me..

He doesn't need to worry. Think about it. The Jews think that the Muslims and Christians won't make it to heaven, The Christians don't believe that the Jews or Muslims will make it, and etc... If you look at the facts, everyone thinks that everyone else is going to hell. Something a God would not allow. The whole notion of a super club in the sky is just ridiculous!

Everyone can go to heaven, even serial killers. The only way to make it to heaven is to accept Jesus and repent for you sins. Whether you are doing it honestly or falsely is something only you and Jesus know. If someone honestly accepts Jesus and repents for their sins they have the same right to go to heaven as everyone else. That doesn't make me mad because I sin everyday and Jesus died for everyone, not just me.
