I was at a race recently and I saw a mountain bike whre the frame looked like an inverted "L" and the bottom crossbar was just a wire. It was really unusual looking but does anyone know what kind this is???

The bike was probably made by a company called Slingshot. They were a little popular in the early 1990s but really don't have much exposure anymore. These bikes were another attempt at suspension when companies were just starting to play around with things like full suspension and elastomers. You'll also see a company called Pro-flex from the same era that made bikes with basically a piece of sponge inserted into a cutout section of the rear triangle.

Your physique won't have disc mount tabs for thr rear brake. Your fork in all likelihood has a one million" steer tube, very constrained determination of forks and your physique geometry will in no way be ideal for a suspension fork. Your wheels won't have disc like minded hubs. you are able to could spend plenty funds that it could be plenty extra value-useful to purchase a sparkling motorbike with the helpful properties you desire. old motorcycles like yours are appropriate commuters, far extra suitable than motorcycles with suspension. in addition they are appropriate for conversion to traveling motorcycles
