I believe God will forgive someone if they take their own life, ONLY IF they are NOT in their RIGHT MIND, and God knows this. Nothing in the Bible says anything about suicide, but it is technically - self-murder & MURDER is a SIN. If you ARE in your right mind and do it anyway, then I don't think God canl forgive you.
You MUST call the SUICIDE HOTLINE to get some help. With help you could easily change your mind knowing that SOMEONE really cares about your life.(You're therapist for example: mine became my best friend)
Think about the pain YOU will cause loved ones if you were to commit suicide and what about THEIR pain?
God Bless You - PLEASE RECONSIDER & GET HELP IMMEDIATELY!

Good question.
We know that God is a forgiving God. Just like in the Parable of the Prodigal Son, if you ask for forgiveness, you will be forgiven.
First of all, any acts of killing (including suicide) is a mortal sin. You shouldn't do any of these; if you do, you must repent.
Stay away from sin and believe in the Gospel.
God bless you.

Taking your own life is murder...and regardless of how hard life gets it isn't the answer. But I believe that it's not our place to decide what God will and will not forgive. He knows your situation, He knows what you're going through and He doesn't want to lose you so I think he'll be a lot more forgiving than people who judge here on earth. It's a sin, something you can't repent for because it can't be taken back, but He forgives for so much that it's hard for me to believe He'd completely forsake you.

That is a good question.
Logically, if someone took their own life, that is a statement to God, that they have no confidence in the future he has promised. So, if you were God, and someone exercised as strong a lack of confidence in you to the point of taking their own life, would you feel they were worthy of Resurrection?
I myself, really do not know. That is why I posed some thing to consider. Ultimately, all forgiveness and Resurrection are in the jurisdiction of the heavenly court.

When one is born of God, born of His Spirit, cleansed by his blood, joint heirs with King Jesus, part of the family of God. They are covered by the blood. Nothing that person can do can make them more or less righteous. In Gods eyes, that person is the righteousness of Christ.
If a person isn't saved & commits suicide, their sin isn't covered. They killed themself. I don't have much hope for that ones soul.
If a person is covered by the blood, but believed the devils lies & got into unforgivenss, & commits suicide, that persons sin is still covered by the blood. That person will go to heaven, but without the rewards the Lord planned to give that person. None of the unforgiveness or lies go to heaven with that person but gets fried. That might be an unpleasant process.
It grieves the Holy Spirit to even consider suicide. The thought would make the person more miserable & should just repent for believing the devils lies or not forgiving & not believing God Is who God Is. That God loves you and will never forsake you. Please read http://www.fathersloveletter.com .

Having known someone do this, and the circumstances, yes of course I believe God would forgive them. Not everyone going through huge unhappiness (possibly from past abuse, mental illness etc) finds God in those circumstances - though believe that God's heart is for them to be healed. God is a Father after all!!

If you're asking about someone who has already done this, that is not for me to decide.
If it is you or someone you know who is thinking about it, call out to the Lord for help right now. There are evil spirits that can attack you and your mind but they will flee at the name of Jesus although you may have to tell the depression to "Go, in the name of Jesus" several times, depending on the intensity of the attack. If you are still in need, call 1-800-759-0700 anytime of the day or night and tell the prayer counsellor exactly what's going on. This is a free service offered through the 700 Club.

God will forgive you but you will not be able to forgive yourself. When you pass over, you will review the book of life.
When you see that you sabotaged your life's mission, you will not be able to forgive yourself. I found this out by experience.
A man who went over the Niagara falls as a dare devil stunt, died, He stood and watched his act over and over every day when I met him. This may not make sense to you. If you write to me I will tell you the whole experience.
Suffice it to say that through a medium, I found out that when people commit suicide, they are tormented by their own last act, over and over again. The only salvation is if someone intervenes and prays for them and tells them to go to the light. I would not want to kill myself and then watch it for eternity. Nothing or no one is worth taking your life for. It is final and you can't take it back.
