I have tried the spa, and sex, even sex with my boyfriend. My muscles are sore and I need to complete the walkway. Please advice me on solutions. I have Ibuprofen, excedrin, and tylenol.Thanks.

Tacit is the boyfriend, She is just more than happy to use my avatar. But maybe she could use another boyfriend or two. The flagstones were over 50 lbs. First time she has ever wore down.

Your muscles are screaming that they need a break. You're going to have to lay off the work for a few days. Ibuprofen Is the best to take for this problem. Use it three times a day. Go in your spa at least twice a day.

If you feel worse see your medical doctor.

1. Use hot / cold therapy as long per day as your general lifestyle allows. This means to take a cold ice pack and lay them on the affected areas for 20-30 minutes. Alternate this for 20-30 minutes with a hot pack as high as you can tolerate it. If this seems like too much trouble, heat will generally bring the pain out. 2. Soaking in a tub of hot water, as hot as you can tolerate it, will help you. 3. Using those muscles AFTER being examined by your doc to be sure there are no muscle strains or pulls (if it lasts more than 5-7 days, I'd pay the doc a visit) will help; use pulls it out, provided there are no circumstances as I mentioned above. 4. Watch the pain medicine mixture please. All of the things you mentioned contain a certain amount of aspirin. Taken in large doses over time, aspirin can cause a stomach lining problem that will result in bleeding. Aspirin also causes blood to thin. My recommendation for a good PRSCRIPTION pain medicine: Hydrocdone (there are many medicines that fall under this label)/ Ibiprofen (combined). I was given this by my Neurologist / Pain Management / Minor Surgery doctor. Besides Reglan for migraines when I get them, and Extra Strength Tylenol for a normal headache, this is now the only
pain medicine I take.

I have been a general contractor for more than 36 years, and got my first bout of Arthritic pain during the four years I pole vaulted in my mid teens. Fortunately, my childhood folk hero was Edgar Cayce. Edgar Cayce recommended this treatment many, many times, and his success rate was phenomenal! If you massage organic and Cold Pressed Peanut Oil into the afflicted joints and soreness areas, taking your time to do so, you will get immediate results which are cumulative as well, and you do not need to rely upon dangerous and sometimes caustic Allopathic medicines, which cause as many problems as they purport to help. Additionally, if you eat a few cherries, also organic if possible, along with the Peanut Oil treatment, the benefits are ramped up pretty noticeably. One other thing I have always done during my "bad spells" of arthritic pain is, just as some of these good people have suggested, to take a nice long soak in the tub, but I use Comfrey leaves, tied in a cheesecloth, along with the soak, just as though you were using Epsom Salts. VERY HELPFUL!

Go to drugstore or healthfood store and get some 'Methylsulfonylmethane' or 'MSM' is a easier way to ask for it. Works great on pulled muscles, joint pain and arthritis. If you put the long word in your seach bar you will get a lot of pages to check on the info. There are just to many to write out. Hope this helps.

There are several things: 1. proper stretching before AND after workout, and maybe even between each set. 2. Massage (sports and deep tissue) helps improve blood circulation, remove toxins and flow blood to the muscles to help them heal. 3. saunas, heat pads. helps flow blood to areas of pain and help the healing process. 4. see a sports doctor. proper testing can easily detect issues. often special steroids are prescribed to help heal with injection. 5. Time. most injuries often life lasting are done by younger guys who overzealously overtrain and create life lasting injuries. make sure your roommate doesn't become a statistic.
