im a 14 year old boy and i like bmx so im thinking of buying a 20 inch bike but im alittle worried the age range is 8- 12 inch but that doesnt matter right? i seen 20 year old men with 20 inch bikes

Yep - most guys think it is cool to be on the 20 inch. But - you have to be aware that too small a bike for your actual body height makes it more of a "show" item as it will not be comfortable to ride very far.

Mostly all BMX and freestyle bikes are 20 inch wheels. The size refers to the wheel size, not the frame size. You're all good.

The height of the bike that you ride is not not figured out by your age but by your height. You must be able to stand on the ground with your feet and not get hit/hurt by any part of the bike. If you can't reach the ground, every time you get off, you end up with buttocks on the ground!
