find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio (running, jogging, rope jumping, dvd cardio) exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

The easiest way to lose without spending money is to buy less food. Buy healthier food and cut out the fast food. People don't seem to know that fast food is actually not a good deal. Fresh fruits and veggies are waaaay cheaper and they fill you up and make you feel healthier and more energetic. Surf the internet!! There are an infinite number of excercises all over the web that don't cost any money. Learn to improvise--use cans of beans instead of handweights. There are so many excercises that use nothing but your own body. Have fun!!

Stay active. Do alot of walking throughout the day. Spend a few days of the week jogging, running, or bicycling. As you get better, increase the duration and intensity. Do some calisthenics or "exercises using your body weight" 3-4 times per week. As for food, cut some calories by modifying your portions and eating healthier choices. Move more daily instead of sitting and laying around. After eating a major meal, move! Example: If you want to go to the mall, then eat first, then walk around in the mall later to burn some calories that you just ate. Good luck!

Change your grocery buying to only healthy choices. If it's not in your home, it can't tempt you.
Then begin walking regularly. Practice holding in your stomache muscles as you walk.
When you hit a plateau, begin carrying weights on your ankles or wrists. You can make your own by filling a zip lock bag with rice, gravel or sand and using a bandanna to tie it on. just make sure you weigh it for consistancy.

Jogging, skipping, push ups, sit ups, star jumps. Make a list of excersises and how many you can do and then slowly increase you will be amazed how quickly you will improve.
Stop eating junk food.
The most important is a POSITIVE ATTITUDE then you will achieve anything.

degrease by scrubbing in the shower for 15 minutes then spend 7 minutes shaving 3 minutes toweling off 4 minutes moisturizing and 20 minutes blow drying and styling your hair

swap out brown rice or quinoa yes even the new super food which both add up to about 220 calories per cup for cauliflower or roasted peppers that are only about 30 calories per cup
