find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

You will have to exercised 4-5 times a day. It is all stuff you can do outside.
Start by walking(then work your way up to jogging) 30 minutes a day. Then do some strenghth training like: Squats and lunges. Get a pair of 5 lb weights and do bicep curls, butterflys, etc. You can even use a jumprope for 5 minutes each day.
Eating- Cut out a lot of the sweets. You can still have the occasional desert, but eat more protein, fruits and vegetables. Cut down on the carbs but dont cut them out completely.

A really good website is www.Glamour.com. Its free and you can keep track of your food intake, and they can show you some really good exercises.

At your age, the best thing that you can do is simply eat a well-balanced diet of lean protein, complex carbohydrates, fibrous carbohydrates, and essential fats at every meal. On top of that, start doing cardiovascular exercise 4 - 5 days a week, with only 3 days of exercise in row if you choose 5 days a week.

If you do that for 2 - 3 months during the summer, you'll be fit and trim by day one!

However, don't forget to switch up your cardio exercises each week! Try to vary what you do... running, jogging, swimming, bicycling... so that your body doesn't adjust and gets a full body workout! Also, throw in a day of full body weight or circuit training every week to replace one of your cardio days.

Try to exercise at least a little each day. Do a lot of cardio that gets you up to your target heart rate or above. When you work out, wear heavy clothing, like sweats and underarmor, because the more you sweat, the more calories you burn. Try a variety of exercises, such as abs, back, arms, legs, etc.

Try reducing your intake of fatty foods. Eat many (5-6) well balanced meals every day. Eating more small healthy meals reduces your snacking and also has you eating less than you would eat at larger regular meals. Also, drink a lot of water.

Good luck! =)
And don't forget to drink a lot of water!
