They knock on my door anytime they feel like it and yet I have to make an appt to go see the church "minister" etc etc

Because they are ignorant, brainwashed and don't want to think for themselves.
I'd like to know when Bible Thumpers will get it through their thick skulls that not everyone considers the bible to be a holy book? Not everyone believes in their god, or even any god.
They should all just give it a rest. All their postings of various scriptures mean nothing at all.

For starters if you have to "make an appointment" to go see the minister..you need to change churches. The Bible said to be ready in season and out of season. If someone approaches me on the street and wants to talk about Jesus i'm there. No one has to make an "appointment" to come see us. Jesus wouldn't want it like that. I"m sorry you have a church that doesn't seem to care that's not what Jesus requires of us.
