This is my fourth time sharing this subject here in Yahoo answers.
I am a medical student here in New York and also a Ex Muslim from Abu Dhabi (UAE citizen). Recently in a very unexpected situation i met Jesus Christ and accepted him as my Lord . During my several visits to a Pentecostal church , am personally experienced the power of holy spirit and talking in tongues. In my heart i prayed to God, if this is true and real, filled with me. The pastor layed his hand on me and prayed for me. All of a sudden I experienced the power of holy spirit, came upon me and started talk in other tongue.
My friend told me about holy spirit from the bible that this is what Jesus Christ promised before he raised to heaven , about a “COMFORTER” to send to this world to lead the believers in the right path.
Now i am much scare to inform about my new faith to my parents in my country. They may stop all support or try to take me back to there. Please pray for me.

Father GOD we lift up our sister and ask for your grace, mercy, peace and wisdom in this situation. We pray that her testimony will bring glory to Jesus and build bridges to her country. Show us your wisdom as we lay this situation at your feet.

You are very strange, people all over the world are realizing the truth, converting to Islam in great numbers while you want to take a backward step and reject the favor which God bestowed upon you.

-i think you should tell your parents,and if your faith (in Christianity) is real and strong then you wouldn't be affected by what they will tell you,right?,and that would be a good test for your faith.

I will keep you in my prayers. Sometime your family do not understand that your religion is your choice I have some family member that was Catholics and now are Christians because they didn't understand that we all pray to the same God with a different name in all religions being Christian is another way of worship the is different so praise him the way you wish to praise him in any religion you would like MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND LEAD YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

I will pray for you. I was a missionary working in the Middle East for eight years and I know the problems you face with your conversion. I would not tell them if you can avoid it as in your culture this would be considered as dishonoring your family and could be a dangerous situation for you. May the Lord be with you.

but through what source will you spread the message...?? and what will be the message..
Allah made Muslims to spread.. .. and HE says in Qur'an .. the only deen acceptable in the sight of Allah is .. Islam...

coz.. original bible is not available.. in its original.. form.. that is why so many contradiction .. and error have been found in "Bible..
don't malign Islam.. by saying you are Ex Muslim....

because.. he(Jesus P.b.U.H) says in Bible..
"i do nothing with my Will but by the Will of God"
