Turd !!!
For the record I do not normally feel the need to respond to a Bowel movement,But in your case I make an exception.
Let me guess your friends name is “tinkles”.
Any way it’s far more efficient then running them over in my Truck, but that can be fun with armadillos though.
But last week end I kill hordes just by spraying my yard with insecticide and that was fun too.
I got tired of running them down with my 4 wheeler, gas prices and all you understand.
But at least your momma named you right.

This question you ask is ridiculous, however I will answer this. Does it make them feel powerful? no Does it boost their ego? no Is it exciting killing gods creatures? no
Hunters control the population of wildlife. I have seen deer populations so bad they look like they havent eaten in a couple of weeks. we (hunters) are humane when we kill, most dont expose dead game animals. If we werent allowed to hunt mother natures has her own ways of controling animals. why not let someone enjoy hunting following all the laws then either consuming or donating game to the hungery.

Don't think we know either, same as me asking you why you hunt men,and that's yuk to me.Don't make me feel powerful to knock down an animal with a dirty big old gun but it feels some shocking good though, and just tracking the animal and the getting of it does something for the ego and god knows we need something extra these days living such an artificial world of concrete ,plastic and hot spicy boxed chicken that are forced grown. And God gave the poor defenseless animals over to us to fill our faces with. Some good too.

Because I don't like meat that is loaded with steroids, hormones and God knows what else. Hunting is also a hell of a lot more humane than buying meat from the store. Commercial meat comes from animals who live miserable lives until they are big enough to turn a profit, then have their throats cut and bleed to death. Game animals are able to live in their natural habitat and may live to a old age. The ones who are hunted are killed by a single gunshot to the heart or lungs and die fairly quickly. Hunting isn't about going out and killing everything in sight just because you can. Hunting is a natural way of life, people have been doing it for thousands of years. If I want to eat meat I have two choices; I can either buy some that someone else killed, or I can go kill it myself. I prefer the latter.

To me it's about being closer to nature and the life cycle that has been taking place for millions of years. Animals, people, and your ancestors have survived through the ages by hunting, and making use of their environments. I feel closer to mother nature when I am out hunting through the woods like other inhabitants of the earth have for millions of years.
"God's prescious and defenseless creatures?" Open your eyes to the cycle of nature. These creatures do not sit around frolicing, sharing food, and discussing ethics as you seem to think. These creatures breathe, eat, drink, and have sex. Those that don't, die. The one's that do, die eventually anyway. Thus is the cycle of life on earth. period. To me, being out in nature as a part of this cycle helps me feel more at peace with mother nature, earth, and the universe.
Please note that these insights are my own, and do not represent hunters as a whole.

Let me start off by how much animals arent defenseless or poor. they have teeth, horns/claws and amazing eyesight and smell, not to mention hearing. It is very relaxing to go out and hunt. Its nice to sit in the wilderness and watch and listen to the animals. I like to watch them through my scope, but if not, then im just as happy, becasue then i dont ahve to gut them. If you dont get your desired animal, you know you tried and had a good time. Anymore, i can come back and dont even care if i dint shoot or even see anything. Id like to take you hunting one day and show you what its really like, and then id take you snipe hunting the night after the hunt.

Bound's hubby here:
Does it make you feel powerful when you summon the delivery man to bring your garden salad with bean sprouts?
Does it make you feel powerful when you order 2 pounds of tofu?
Do you feel a rush of excitement when you venture into your grocery store's produce department?
As a vegetarian, you sense you sense the rush of excitement as you prepare to eat.
Men (and women) hunt to put food on the table for their families! Now, if you are not a vegetarian, you are a hypicrite, because the butcher and the slaughter house kill and prepare your meat, almost the same as the hunter that forages for his or hers! Plus, the hunting family eats foods that are not laced with chemical preservatives and steriods!
Hunting is not about ego or power, it is all about feeding one's family!
Enjoy that tofu and bean sprouts!
EDIT from Bound: Firstly, a married man should not be "ruled" by his wife. (In an ideal situation, it should be quite the opposite.) Zalani, if you feel that marriage means that a wife is to "rule" her husband, I feel sorry for your current or future spouse!
Secondly, married men are the only men who hunt? My husband got his biggest buck way back in his single days! Many single men hunt.
Thirdly... why not ask why "people" hunt, instead of why "men" hunt? FYI, women hunt, too! While you're out there stumping for animal rights, don't forget us gals! It almost sounds like you've decided that women don't/can't hunt since you are directing your question only towards the motives of men who hunt. There are many women who hunt (and some of us are a damn sight better shots than some of the men out there!).

Why do you come to a hunting section to attack others rights? Does it make you feel powerful to voice your opinion? Does it boost your ego to try and put another persons sport down? Is it exciting to sit behind your computer with your feeling of self importance? What's the deal with YOU?

man is a natural hunter, and by the way by men i mean human beings.i know plenty of women who are awesome hunters.animals are not defenseless.they are very instinctive creatures it brings me closer to nature and the outdoors.if people didn't hunt there would be deer starving to death in mass droves.do you think that is an easy death for these poor helpless creatures?i think not.oh by the way yes my knuckles do drag the ground, and i have a hairy back.

Explaining hunting to you is pointless, because you've made up your mind. But, what makes you think that just men hunt? I know numerous women that are fine hunters. Two are past high school homecoming queens. My own daughter hunts; she's a registered nurse, and is happily married- to a non hunter. My wife doesn't hunt, but she's wonderful at following a trail, and has helped find several deer.
