I am looking a buying a Wig Wag headlight flasher for my 1999 Ford Expedition, the big question is does my expo have a ground side switched headlights??

Actually the headlights are controlled separately by relays. The switching is done on the ground side of the low voltage circuit. A wig-wag set-up requires that the switching circuits for each relay be toggled. Your best bet is to find a salvage yard that has an Expedition formerly used by police or ambulance. You should be able to find everythign you need there and you'll be able to see how tye had it hooked up. If you're tackling this from scratch be carefull there are monitors for bulbs in that truck and they can cause the dash light for "light out" to come on. Good luck

The power supply side of the lights is controled, not the ground circuit.
