Ok,so today my dad is going to take me to look at some bikes.I want to buy a mountain bike really bad.But i dont know wut kind to get in a price rnge up to 120 dollars.Also,it needs to be a beginner bike

go to your local bike shop and put a trek 3900 or 3700 on layaway. they range around $300. i know that that is over your budget, but if you want to get into the sport, the entry level treks provide a great platform for developing the skills necessary to not only have fun but stay in shape too. once you're hooked on the more fun parts of mtb, you will want to do it all the time. but take the $120 and put a 3900 on layaway, then do anything that you can to make money and go make deposites. you will have your bike in no time, and it will be the best thing ever. also if you want to get into mountain biking, start talking to the guys in the shop, tell them you are interested. it shouldn't be too long before you have a riding buddy that will teach you everything that he/she knows.

I'm not sure what you mean by beginner bike, but for $120 you are going to have a problem finding a bike anywhere except at a Walmart or other bike box store. These bikes are often of inferior quality and are almost always assembled in an unsafe manner.
Tell your dad to take you to a bike shop. Check out where their bikes start at. In the long run, buying a bike at a bike shop will save money in repairs and will surely last longer.

Trek 3900 is about the cheapest NEW bike your going to get and they're f'n awesome. That was my first bike when I was 14 and I loved it so much. Im 18 now and Im still rideing Treks, your going to love mountain bikeing though!
