...love getting their butts spanked? When I stop spanking because of pure exhaustion, they freak out for more! Does anyone know why this is so pleasureable for them? I have both a male and female cat who enjoy this nightly ritual.

It seems to be beyond playing...they seem to go into a state of euphoria or hypnosis when I do it...very strange.

To answer your question "javay p", yes, both cats are fixed. The female is 10 years old and the male is 8 months.

WTF ? Butt slapping your cats to the point of sheer exhaustion . What does your hand look like ? What do their butts look like ?
I know that on female cats stimulation of the area where the tail joins the body leads to sexual arousal and the biting of the neck is also part of the pre-intercourse protocols .
On your male cat , I really don't know. Maybe he's a reincarnated hairdresser.
Watch me get reported for that one.
In the end cat's are just strange but interesting creatures.

Is there ever really an explanation for why cats do anything? They are the neatest animals though and ya gotta love em for the little quirks that they come with.

My cats are the same way. I don't think they are kinky cats though. Its more of patting their back. I think its similar to petting them and they just enjoy it. They just love the attention.
