Possibly its Scour. Is the cat drinking milk. Needs seeing to. Because cats do sleep a lot, especially older cats.

I think yellow stuff should not be coming out of a cats bum. You should take your cat to the vet!

Ok thats bad. Yellow stuff comming out of a bum can really effect the way your cat behaves. It sleeps alot to ease the pain of it. Bring him or her to a vet.

It's probably just discharge from the anal glands, happens to my cat too one in awhile. I know in dogs you're actually supposed to squeeze the anus to express the mucus because it can build up and become cystic, but not sure if you should do that to cats. I have a long hair and when I brush by her bum she starts too ooze sometimes... Kind of gross but I don't think it's a reason to be concerned unless it happens a lot.

It's tapeworm. My cat had it when he was three months old and it's easily cured with two pills - take the cat to the vet now and have it taken care of! It's easy to deal with.

if your cat is female and there is a yellow discharge this is not NORMAL!!! please take your cat to the vet immediately...this is a very serious condition known as pyometra...any discharge from a cat is not normal i have several cats and NONE of mine have a discharge of any kind leaking from them...your cat needs a vet's attention right away

Usually, that's too long for me. I believe it depends on the guy and his face though. Certain guys can easily pull off long hair and other people can't.
