I check to make sure I have enough on my plate by doing a "sprout tumble test" simply place your loaded plate on the table and thump the table...if at least one sprout doesn't roll off there is not enough food on the plate and it requires topping up.

Four small Yorkshire puddings, mashed potato, mashed turnip, peas, broccoli, runner beans, roast potato's, carrots, cauliflower or cabbage, and it will be pork tomorrow.
All drizzled with gravy.

Sunday dinner is a time that we like to do themes. One week we had mexican food and margaritas. Another time we may have homemade pizza and beer. Baked potato bars are fun too and you can do mashed potatoes with various toppings and serve them in fun martini glasses. You can do this if you drink alcohol or not.
Italian food and wine is also great stuff!

We dont do like traditional things. Except go to the Grandparents on Sundays for Dinner. My Grandparnets are really good cooks. The family really enjoys haveing them cook some of the best food around. (Grandma is from the south) Awesome cook she is.
