God is the Righteous Judge! It seems like Christians have forgotten this because they are always judging and disrespecting those who are not Christians. I am a Christian and I do believe that we should tell non-Christians about Christ and all He has done but it should be in a loving and respectful way. I am not trying to be mean or judge you. I am trying to give you counsel and help you obey the Lord. Please read these verses and pray about judging.
Isaiah 33:22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.
Psalm 50:6 And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for God himself is judge.
Psalm 7:7-11 let the LORD judge the peoples. Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High. O righteous God, who searches minds and hearts, bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure. God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses his wrath every day.

Luke 6:36-42 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." He also told them this parable: "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

To Fish: 1 Corinthians 6:2-3 is about settling matters between two Christians. It is talking about lawsuits among believers. You should read the whole chapter.

Thank you!!! So many times I see where other Christians are taking the hell-fire and brimstone approach and they seem so surprised that they are not only unaccepted, but ridiculed, detested and attacked. As a Christian myself, this is appalling! Obviously they've forgotten where they were when God found them. It's that holier-than-thou attitude that gives the rest of us a bad name.

God has already made some of His judgments known to us.
Albeit, He is the final authority, but He has made these sins known to us for a reason. His statements and commandments serve to show us that ALL have sinned, and continue to sin. They are there for correction and reproof. For guidance and to know His will. To know that we need His forgiveness for the offenses we have done to Him and to others.
Part of our being who we now are, just living in the light, is exposing the darkness. They, of course, do not want to hear or be reminded of their sinful ways. It is not us that judges them, but God's known judgments concerning their sin, and the conviction of the Holy Spirit within them.
For example... If I make the statement, according the the Word of God, that those who do not believe in God are fools, am I making a judgment? Especially to someone who has professed not to believe? This does not eliminate the hope that they may change, it just reminds them of the need to repent and that they are sinning.
Christ came calling people to repent... we can do no less.
Of course, they will say we are being judgmental, hypocrites, etc. If we did not care, we would NOT say anything to offend them. It would not matter to us that what they are doing is hurting themselves or other people. Our prime motivation is love, toward God and others. No one every said that would be easy. Out of the heart... and by their fruits....

I agree with you, the judgement belongs to God alone. What we are supposed to do is to preach the gospel constantly, and if neccessary use words (Just like St francis of Assisi adviced). But really, judgement does not belong to us, I know that. Judge lest ye be judged, right? With the same stick you measure you shall be measured. isn't it?
I also believe that God is love and mercy, and if He is willing to forgive all our shortcommings if we trust in him, then why shouldn't we do the same? Is obvious that our job is to live lives faithful to the gospel which means love your Lord your God first and your neighbour as yourself. In these two are contained all the law and the prophets

Kind of sad, isn't it? And people wonder why their witness for Christ is mocked and ridiculed. I don't know anyone who's ever been judged and hated into the Kingdom of God, but I know plenty who've been loved into it.
Like St. Francis of Assisi said, "Preach the Gospel at all times. Use words if necessary."

What about this: "Do you not know that the saints (Christians) will judge the world? And if the world will be judge by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels?" 1 Cor. 6:2-3

AMEN !
I am also a Christian!
I agree.
Where is your fear of God in all of this judging.
Do you not know that you who judge are guilty of the same things?.......Who are you to judge the Lord's servant?....
Good question however, please forgive me for being a Christian who judges Christians for judging non Christians....
The only hope I have for my sinful state is the precious precious blood of Jesus so that Gods wrath may pass over me........It is available for all who believe!!!!!!!!

While I agree with you, have you realized that there are those that may look at your words as judgmental? You would say that you weren't being judgmental, and I'd agree with you, but remember that it's about perception. Many times Christians aren't being judgmental, but they're perceived as being that way.
As my pastor put it, light irritates darkness by simply being there. No words even have to be spoken.
