I recently had a problem with my windows media player 11 (when I clicked on it it said "An internal application error has occurred") So I reinstalled it and now when I try and open it nothing happens.

I've pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL to see if it was running and I don't think it was, I've also tried opening it from the start menu and the toolbar at the bottom. Nothing seems to happen :-(

Thanks to anyone that helps = ]

PS. I have restarted my computer since btw.

You may have to clean out the registry first, then reinstall the player.

Use CCleaner for that, get it here......................

You need to go to your add/remove programs and remove WM11 all together.. Then, reinstall WM11 onto your system..

I suggest you go to www.support/microsoft.com. You will find excellent support there. Good luck.
