Use one of the all-inclusives like Sandals, SuperClubs, Couples, Secrets and Dreams, Grand Lido, Breezes. They do them FREE usually, and have good packages.
I prefer St. Lucia, the Virgins and Mexican part of the Carribean myself - I don't care for the FLAT islands like the Bahamas at all (personal choice.) St. Lucia is gorgeous with waterfalls and foliage. There are three Sandals on St. Lucia, so I'd look there and The Royal by Rex is very highly recommended on Trip Advisor - http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g147342-t5-St_Lucia-Hotels.html You can also "island hop" in the Virgins - get married on one & honeymoon at another!
And PJ Max - http://www.pjmaxltd.com/ - has the BEST wedding dresses and clothes for the entire wedding party!
Also look at http://www.islandbrides.com/
great website

My BF needed to do the desitination yet they desperate to no longer simply by this reason: They felt they have been telling human beings the place they have been to trip and how they spent their money that year. They felt very impolite and uncomfortable with making human beings use their money and time for sooner or later of their life. and additionally that folk would do it begrudgingly simply by fact it replaced into their wedding ceremony and not purely yet another day. so as that they desperate on doing a marriage at a place around the place they lived, I dont think of they might have been happier with the way each little thing became out. And afterwards I asked if that they were unhappy that they hadnt long previous to the Keys to get married as they initially planned. They the two suggested that they've been plenty happier that they had the "massive" wedding ceremony, they have been in a position to proportion with anybody particularly of purely a opt for few. And it rather exceeded my sisters wedding ceremony (which had sat atop my actual 10 weddings checklist for 12 years), I dont think of it would have been as particular an afternoon if she had long previous away. sturdy success along with your determination.

We are in the midst of planning ours right now. There are things you need to consider that would not be important with a traditional wedding...remember, it won't be a huge affair, as most people won't make the trip, and you may have to foot the bill for some people (we're paying airfare and hotel for our immediate families-12 people total)...you also need to send out invites at least 6 months in advance so your guests have time to save, make arrangements, put in for vacation time from work, etc...and include travel info with the invitation.
we are getting married in St Thomas and using:
www.islandweddingservices.com
The basic wedding was planned with 3 emails and a call to our travel agent who said they were very good to work with from her experience.Thier prices are very reasonable-better than you'll get as a part of a hotel package. What I like about them is they will go anywhere on the island to marry you, and will bring the champagne and photographer and flowers with them-you just meet up at the designated location, and the rest is taken care of...we're getting married on Bluebeard's Beach...
The other thing is, you might want to consider the passport situation. We chose St Thomas because it is a part of the US Virgin Islands and no passports are required--you and all you guests would need them if you went to Jamaica, Bahamas or many other places in the Caribbean.
Also, you might want to plan a party for when you return home for those you would like to have celebrate with you but who cannot make it to the actual ceremony.
Good luck!

With destination weddings try to be as considerate of your guests as possible. Expecting them to pay for airfare and hotel accomodation can really put a strain on their finances. Expect many people not to be able to attend for this reason.
