I disagree that we are not fighting a real war. Any time my husband and his comrades have to put their lives on the line in battle is a real war. The point you make about fighting politically correctly, however, I do agree with. These tactics are not working, so it's time for a harder, more brutal warfare. But the liberals believe that this is wrong, and would rather chicken out and come home, or have more of our men die then Iraqis. It makes me sick as well. I can only hope that SOMETHING changes, and our military is allowed to fight this war the way it should be.
GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY, and SEMPER FI.

I think we are in Iraq for the right reasons. Ive talked to many soldiers that i know who has been fighting in Iraq and they have said the media only shows the liberal side. Also, they said that things are going great there and we are helping them. You never hear the positive things that the soldiers do there in iraq, its always the negatives so it makes George Bush look bad. But wait till we get a democrat in office and the U.S will see how good of a President Bush was.

The unconstitutional and illegal 'war' in Iraq began for only three really 'lame' reasons:
a) The Bush family had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein since the days of Desert Storm when George H.W. Bush was criticized, humiliated, and ridiculed for not 'finishing the job' and ousting Hussein at that time;
b) Cheney and his Exxon-Mobil buddies want all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so they can get richer and richer and richer feeding America's dependency on cheap, easily-accessible foreign OIL;
c) Ever since World War II, the giant U.S. military-industrial complex realized how profitable war could be. So they bought up all the politicians, hired pricey lobbyists, and formed special interest groups to encourage and promote 'war'. Thus, the U.S. found itself involved in the Korean Conflict; the Cuban Missile Crisis; the Cold War; Vietnam and Desert Storm - all to boost the PROFITS of companies such as McDonnell-Douglas; Halliburton; the Carlyle Group; Lockheed-Martin; Sikorsky; General Motors and so many others.
This new Iraq 'war' is also all about OIL and WAR PROFITEERING.
If we truly plan to bring democracy to Iraq, then leave - WHY is the U.S. building the largest embassy in the world on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad, overlooking the 'new' puppet Iraqi government installed by the Bush administration??
We will be there until every last drop of OIL is sucked out of Iraq's sands. And, for that very same reason, we will soon be "at war" with Iran. The Bush administration - and those wealthy elitists who control things from behind-the-scenes - have no moral guide, no conscience, no humanity, and no ethics. They are only too happy to allow 675,00 Iraq citizens to die and kill 3,300 U.S. soldiers, all for the sake of OIL and PROFIT. -RKO- 04/28/07

What sucks even more is that we are bound by rules which no enemy we have ever fought has followed.
Liberals are responsible for this. We are working to protect American lives and they whine and launch investigations when they hear rumors about possible mistreatment in the interrogations of enemy combatants who have admitted to cutting off the heads of Americans.
If we were allowed to stick needles in enemies eyeballs and pull out their fingernails and conduct unanesthesized medical procedures on them like they have done to Americans in the past, I would bet money that we would have found Bin Laden by now and his followers would fear us to the point that they no longer desire to take up arms not to mention all of the American Lives that would be saved with intel gathered about futer attacks.
ITS TIME TO GROW A PAIR AMERICA OR WE WILL FALL TO OUR ENEMIES!!!!

I just wish our Government would support our troops.
The War in Iraq is illegal (this is not an opinion) and each time Bush tries to justify it and glorify it, he is only further exploiting our troops.
And Congress wants us just to get up and walk away?
