I think I was about your height when I was 13. By the time I finished middle shcool, I was taller than my mother who is about 5'8". Now, at 29, I'm 5'11.5". I was always the tallest girl in my class. When I was a high school freshman, I was taller than a good chunk of the seniors. I did wear guys' jeans, though, because I only dressed in the mornings because I had to. (While I'm not a "fashioinista" now, I really didn't care--Jeans and oversized Ts and sweatshirts suited me fine. The sweatshirt I'm wearing now, which I had in high school, I probably wouldn't wear much out of the house now. I'm in to dressy casual clothes that look good and are classic. I care, but I'm practical.) Anyway, I'm used to being taller than most of my female freinds and acquaintances, and as tall or taller than most of the men. My husband is even two inches shorter than me. However, we both come from tall families, so I'm thinking the daughter with which I'm pregnant will also be tall. (My husband's dad and two brothers all grew to be at least 6'2". My dad and his dad and his brothers are mostly over six feet. Even my grandpa's sisters weren't or aren't [those who are still alive] short. Even my mom is what I call on the short side of tall.)
Clothing manufacturers are wising up though. When I was in high school, there were no clothing (nothing I liked) for a tall, overweight teenaged girl. (I used to weigh over 200; Now at 172 and five months pregnant, I'm still thin-ish, but my baby is healthy. My friends are all amazed at how thin I look at two people at my church, whom I thought knew, just found out this week that I'm pregnant. I'm not even wearing maternity clothes yet.) However, there seems to be more stuff for taller women. Even Target's clothes are long. I bought a pair of dress pants there December 2005 that were happily, surprisingly almost too long. Although I did buy them a size too big in case I gained weight. (Once I put on my boots, with the two inch heels, the length was/is good.)
That's the other thing-- Just because you are taller, don't be afraid to wear heels. I was until I literally needed dress shoes and I found some on clearance for under $5, but they were two inch heels. It was either that or nothing. So now I keep wearing heels.
There's a woman at my church who is about 6'2". One of the first things she asked me when we met was my height and size. I told her and she offered me some of her old work clothes (she's a lawyer). Most of them came from a specialty shop, Tall Girl. They're all dress/business clothes and I was blessed with them at the perfect time. The morning of the day we met, I was trying to find something that wasn't too short to wear with the aforementioned pants to church and I just simply said, "God, I could use some new dress clothes." Wham.
Anyway, I've also found some great lengthed stuff at thrift stores, too. (The only place I'll shop.) That's where I found my Express jeans that touched the floor when I bought them. I also bought them a size too big, too as I was a little on the too thin side. However, they're low cut, so I was able to wear them til the end of my fourth month of pregnancy. Now, my old size 14s barely fit. Bleh. I'm happy my baby is healthy, I just never liked clothes shopping. (I also have a pair that I got at a Goodwill from New York and Company, but I don't like them as well.)
Oh, yeah. Just because you are taller doesn't mean you "have to" be a model, play basketball or volleyball or any of that. I HATED sports in high school, as I don't have a natrual talent for them. I chose to not be a model, because I wanted (and still do) a career where I was appreciated for me the person, not me the body.
Anyway, I hope my own life expereience have been of help to you. Stand up straight and carry yourself well.

Its perfectly fine! Be glad of your height, most girls can look skinny if they are tall.
I'm short and even at a "healthy" weight I look fat.
