Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things are working together for good to those who love God, who are the called according to His purpose." This is one of the best verses to fall back on when life is falling apart. God is in control, and He is using your situation for good.

Paul the apostle wrote, "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." Paul knew there will be hard times ahead, but he was going ahead anyway because it was more important to come to judgment day having followed the Lord Jesus wholeheartedly rather than halfheartedly. He knew the Lord would be with him wherever he went, no matter how bad it would get.

The Lord stands for those whose hearts are loyal to Him. I know that things around me could get worse, but in the end, waiting for me, is glory in the kingdom of heaven without end.

Things WILL get better for those who love God -- just read Revelation 22!

Isaiah 43:19 speaks about rivers in wastelands and way in the wilderness.

Isaiah 54:5-6,Psalms 91: 14-16.Romans 8:18-19,31-38.

1 corintians 13 chapter tells us with about love.

Psalms 41:1-3, Psalms 1,Psalms 37:4,Psalms 66:16-20.

*Most are about deliverance Psalms 1 sure is one chapter to know the blessings of following GOD.Deuteronomy chapter 28 talks about blessings and curses.

GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.

John 3:16 says "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.

When you say "it", what do you mean? If you mean mankind and the world, Revelation tells us the wrath of God will be poured out, and the millenial reign of Christ will begin. The world's situation will get better, but not until Christ returns.

If "it" is referring to your personal situation the first thing you must ask yourself, "Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your saviour? Have you trusted his redemptive work on the cross for your sin?" If so, Romans 8:28 does say "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." The Bible doesn't promise us a rose garden so we don't always know if things will get better, but it teaches us that our joy and peace lie outside ourself, in God. The amazing thing about being a Christian is that you can feel comforted and assured in the worst circumstances. Paul and Barnabas were singing while they were in jail!

1 Thessalonians 5:16 Be joyful always; 17pray continually; 18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

This was written by Paul who suffered a lot.

I would suggest chapter 22 of Revelation, which describes the New Jerusalem. Of course, you need to be saved to get there.

No. Why can't you come up with something appropriate yourself? Are you that morally, intellectually and spiritually weak? Why merely quote Scripture? Why not attack problems on first principles? I never trust anybody who has to refer to the Bible for every trifling issue in lieu of thinking.
