I am not insulting him, but I am just pointing out that many people do not believe that Muhammad was a prophet.

I am a Muslim and I don't find this insulting......why should I?
So you don't believe in the Prophet Muhammad.....all that means is that you are not a Muslim.
To be a Muslim you must except both parts of the Kalimah Shahadah (Declaration of Faith)
"La ilaha il Allah wa Muhammadur Rasoolullah" (There is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah)
If you except the first part of the Shahadah, then this shows you are a Monotheist, believing in One God alone, but in order to be a Muslim, you must also accept the second part of the declaration, but without it would mean denying that Allah revealed the Qur'an to the Prophet Muhammad, thus denying Islam altogether.
Insha'Allah (if Allah wills) you will become among those who are guided to the straight path.

If you're not a celebrity and live in a country with a small minority of Muslims, the answer is "probably nothing much". Some may try to engage to ask why you feel that way and try to provide you information on why they feel you are wrong. Many (most) people of islam you meet in the US, are not out to overtly get you personally.
If you're a celebrity, there may be an attempt to have you labelled as a bigot, with pressure put on your sponsors to distance themselves from you.
If you're in a society that's islamic, if the muslim was a good friend of yours, he may say "it's probably better for you to keep your thoughts to yourself". If you make these statements to random people on the street, then good luck.

I am a Muslim and I have a ton of friends who do not believe in Islam and it's alright with me because we reaspect each other's religions. If a non-Muslim came up to me to say he didn't believe Muhammand was a Prophet (and he's a stranger like you), I say, "Okay. And why did you feel you had to tell me that? Is there something you'd like to talk about buddy? Want to do it over lunch?" I know billions of people don't believe that.. Why should it come as a suprise to me?

Do you think i give a crap if you believe in him or not...........why would i care!!!! its not like i came up to you and asked for your opinion, did i?????..... And believe me your belief mean nothing to me or any other Muslims because again your one of those ignorant people who have been brainwashed my the media! SO you believe what you want cause believe you me i don't not give a DAMN!!!

You either believe or you dont.
I however would ask you to respect the man even if you dont believe in him. Because he means a lot to many, and insulting him is the equivalent of insulting my mother.

It depends where you ask the question rather they just disagree or they kill you. If they are in America they just file a discrimination complaint against you. If you are in an Islamic country you can be killed or enslaved. Islam teaches all non believers must be killed or enslaved in the name of Allah the merciful.

What could i say? i could try and convince you that Islam is true. but in the end its up to Allah. Allah guides who he wishes. so you might not believe in prophet Muhammed (pbuh) him now. but Allah may guide you to Islam in the future. so all i could do is pray for you.
