Yes.Your bird if it doesn't choke or get severely constipated or bowel blockage will put on weight big time. If you put a cup full of Fries in your mouth chewed up and swallow you'd notice they clump in a mass and it would be hard for you not to gag. Well a bird picks at it but it hasn't teeth so if it doesn't collect in it's throat it will in its gut, a soggy sticky mass. If you want to give your bird a treat, some fresh lucern with seeds attatched, grow it in a pot.Cuttle fix will help its beak keep in good shape.

Yes, they are bad for birds. Actually, they are not healthy for you, either! French fries have high fat and salt content. This is not something bird's digestive systems were intended to handle. There is no wild bird that has a natural diet high in fat and salt.

I don't bring home fast food that often, but I always share my french fries with my three birds. They almost demand it. I don't let them eat the entire box, but one french fry per bird once in a while is NOT going to kill them.

It's harmful to feed YOURSELF McDonald's french fries, and you are alot bigger than your bird!

It's not healthy for any living thing to eat McDonald's french fries - including people. It probably won't kill them instantly, but it certainly isn't a healthy thing for birds to eat.

Yes and it is harmfull to feed McDonald fries to humans.
They are extremely high in salt content and fat.
Birds don't pee,they don't have kidney's and can't process salt. . .PERIOD! ! ! !
A bird passes their liquid waste out with their poop.
Most of the birds you see eating those nasty fries is after thoughtless litter's have thrown out their uneaten/unwanted french fries. They have been run over,mashed under people's feet,rained on etc and alot of the salt is gone.
Birds are smarter than people give them credit for and they know they can't ingest salt. . . I have my ducks/chickens out with my goats/sheep and their block of salt and the birds don't even touch it.

French Fries have a very high salt content. Since bird's kidneys cannot cope with too much salt, you could easily cause kidney failure.

Oh ya it is harmful to feed birds with these deep fried food pl if u love animals spare them with these fancy foods feed them their appropriate food
