Do people realize that for every illegal that you see their is an American without a job?

I know they are taking much needed jobs here from citizens and there isn't a strawberry or tomato field around. They are taking factory jobs and other work as well and keeping people from getting jobs with their "must speak Spanish" BS. Now what we do have is increased gang problems, drug smuggling, illegal businesses running without a license and selling the goods in Mexican stores or ripping citizens off and hi-tailing it back to Mexico when they get the money and not doing the jobs. Gee....had a 3 million dollar a year bogus ID ring going, illegal prostitution rings going with illegal women and children.....just taking and destroying and taking and destroying. Corruption and violence everywhere. It's sickning.

It is more than being lazy. Some are traumatized, some are uneducated and some just dont know any better.
Some illegal immigrants work because they know they don’t have a choice!
Hard work is depicted on the individual, no matter the nationality. Every country has unemployed people for a multitude of reasons.

And you are damn right, I WILL NOT work for $0.25 and hour, and if some people are stupid enough to do so then that is their prerogative. I will do whatever necessary to provide for my family, but this country is not a third world country! I should be respected with the rules as such, and compensated as such! The employers are at fault, and should be reprimanded.
Every country has strict border rules, and we should too!! If not, how come illegal/legal Poor Africans and Asian people, just as hardworking and deserving, are not allowed to come here to live a better life?

Then Americans accross this nation need to show that they are as hardworking and industrious as any other peoples, put the lie to the claim that Americans are lazy, spoiled, yes, lazy HELLNO!

Since the age of 14, I have never had any problem getting a job, true, the jobs werent always the easiest work, but I was willing to work and the employer was willing to pay me for my time and effort.
I have done some of the most miserable, labor intensive, hazardous work out there, And as long as I am able, I will do whatever I have to do to put food on the table and pay my bills.
So, in my eyes, that dog wont hunt.
Pay me, and I will dig your ditch, pick your veggies, clean your septic tank, or any other job that needs done, All it takes is money.

Any time you see an American employer who hires KNOWN illegals, send all your unemployed friends and relatives there to apply, when they arent hired for jobs they are qualified for, Go to the labor board with your PROOF of discriminatory hiring practices, and let the wheels of the law grind the operation to a halt, in the meantime, keep applying for jobs that you are qualified for, there will be an opening soon.
We employed this tactic to a local employer who contracted with the state on major construction jobs, it took about a year & a half, but now they have been forced to downsize,Change their hiring practices , pay stiff penalties, and the state has introduced legislation which became law by a majority vote that says "All companies wishing to do business with the state via contract bid submission must comply with state & federal immigration laws. Any employer not in compliance or found to be using discriminatory hiring practices, will forfeit the right to be contracted to the state for an indefinite period of time."
A small group of people, angry and dedicated, made a major impact on how an entire state conducts business with regards to hiring illegals over American citizens.

Really? Because I see so many "Americans" lining up to work the fields here in California or clean houses or watch your snotty *** kids.

This kind of ignorrant point of view just floors me. How can a country founded on the backs of immigrants, and still so dependant on ILLIGAL immigrants hate them so much.

I am an American, born and raised but my parents are not. They came to this country with nothing and worked their asses off and gave me a life. I think of that when I drive by the welfare office on the first of the month and see all these "Americans" waiting for the free money my social security along with the social security of my immigrant parents pay for.

I see help wanted signs everywhere I go. I see 16 year olds driving new cars mommy and daddy bought them right next to these signs. Why would this generation of "Americans" want to work? Everything is given to them.

If people want to risk their lives to even get here just to do the crappiest jobs for the lowest pay this country has to offer then why wouldnt you let them? You want your kids to pick your fruit or landscape your yard or basicly do every job out there that is hard to do? Didnt think so...

68 Americans now have a job because they deported that many from the factory I work at. They were getting paid the same a everyone else in the plant. That shows they dont only "do jobs we wont do".

I don't think my brother, mother, father, sister, etc. would want to pick strawberries out in the hot sun for $0.25 an hour. I don't think they would want to be school janitors either. Simply put, illegals are doing jobs that most Americans do not want to do. This is because Americans are lazy. I admit, I am American as well...Asian-American to be more precise. We are referred to as the "model minority" because of our hard work. We will soon take over US in terms of economical power, so you better watch yourself.
