One theory, I was told by a Rabbi, is that the Jews were angry with Jesus because he was telling all people they could share this God of the Jews ... So I have heard your theory before. We shall never know, but both of us are sure to get tons of thumbs down by people unwilling to have sane discussions about controversial issues :o)

no. Judaism does not generally think of itself as an exclusively correct way to God.
it is *a* way to God. Jews do NOT claim that there is no other way to God.
that is up to God, not us to say, and he never said that only jews get to talk to him.
Judaism in general does *not* consider others evil, neccesarily wrong, bad, subhuman, or anything else like that. I have heard references alledging that some jewish documents say such things. I do not have the education needed to verify or deny such assertions, but if they are there they are *not* considered the word of God, indisputable, and are absolutely not in the commonly viewed range of things that any normal jewish people belive through action or inaction.

If anything, it was the opposite. Originally, Jews believed that their God had chosen THEM as a people. If others joined their religion, great!

This is probably the real reason so many hate Jewish people. Because they are human, and thier religious leaders in the past proclaimed them to be better than everyone else. Just like so many humans try to act better than others, because they realy think nothing of themselves.

that would be a good assumption, since GOD'S original plan was for the jews to teach the other nations about GOD and help them live as they were supposed to live.good point.
