If I were you, I'd do it in post. Although the result probably won't be quite as good if you were using a filter, you will have more flexibility that way, plus, it'll save you money :-). Otherwise, from what I know, you should be able to use the filter. Hope this helps!

any different than shade correction filters may be used on dSLR cameras. did you comprehend that digital SLR's are analog too? this is purely whilst the image captuered on the cameras sensor and it is going for the time of the analog to digital converter does the image grow to be digital. this is that this sense that considering we've digital cameras the all different variety cameras are analog ... no longer actual simply by misuse of the term "analog" a lot of human beings incorrectly assume that once a lens is named "digital", via some sellers, that that lens in via some potential purely sees digital gentle and hence a typical lens used with a 35 mm digicam can not be used with their digicam. the three filters I even have are the UV to guard the front factor of my lenses, a polarizing filter out for my 24-80 5 mm lens and an ND filter out for opt for lenses which i take advantage of to shoot scenes at shutter speeds of decrease than a million/2 2nd. Cokin makes some uniqueness lens filters you're starting to be exciting utilising, yet they are high priced and have little commercial value

i used Cokin A filters on 35mm and video cameras for years. using filters on video such as gradients and star help cure smear problems that can't be fixed later.
