a challenging question for christians.
Muslims don't have the doctrine of the sucrifice by Jesus for sins and crimes done by someone else. every one will be put in account only for his deeds ( not for the original sin nor the sins of anyone else, but him self).
anyway I invite you to read more about the islamic beilefs about this topic, I inivtie you to visit

Uh...you need to understand that God's love is unconditional...this mortal world is full of wonders where it has lead on to believe the many different things that are "right and wrong" caused by the many different faiths that have been created. The afflictions that are seen by you are the afflictions in life caused by the evildoers....(sin all started with the poisonous apple that Eve picked from the tree in the Gardens...after being coerced by the snake). Since the evildoers existed then and still do, it is only because of blindness created by the deriving of different faiths and their own beliefs. To me there is only ONE God...a Heavenly father that is very forgiving and yet he does have sadness towards things in life in the mortal world...but we can only have hope and learn to believe that his LOVE is unconditional...you can always pray that all that are evildoers in society learn their overdue lessons in being human the real way by reading the good book and also go to church....then there will be peace within.

Everything was created by god including disease, pestilence, hunger and aging.
God created the garden of eden to be a perfect place for Adem and Eve to live free from disease, pestilence, hunger and aging.
Because of Eve eating the forbidden fruit, they as well as all thier childeren( thus all of humanity) was kick out of the Garden of Eden.
Which is when all our problems began.
So in my opinion we are not, nore ever will be done paying for our sins untile the world comes to an end.
God has the power to ease suffering but yet look at the world we live in!!
Now if thats not messed up then what is?

We need to remember that sin is a constant in our lives while we are yet on this earth (Romans 3:10, 23). And as such, we not only have to deal with God's discipline for our disobedience, but we also have to deal with the natural consequences resulting from sin. If a believer steals something, God will forgive him and cleanse him from the sin of theft, restoring fellowship between Himself and the repentant thief. However, the societal consequences of theft can be severe, resulting in fines or even jail time. These are natural consequences of sin and must be endured. But God works even through those to increase our faith and glorify Himself.

God heals people, he doesn't give them AIDS and STD's. Those things are just the natural result of doing what God has said not to do. He forgives us for it, and he accepts us anyway. The price has been paid. But it is not God afflicting you it is the sin in itself.

When we become Christians we are to repent and turn from our sins. If we continue in sins there will be an earthly price to pay. I know I mess up a lot but as long as walk toward GOD and not away from him I am on the right path.
Jam 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
Jam 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Jam 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Diseases are caused by bacteria and viruses. Diseases get passed from person to person, often, by unsafe practices.
God does not send diseases. Diseases are not a punishment from God. God never promised anyone that there would be no suffering in life, even IF you could behave perfectly.
The error in your logic is equating God's wrath with sickness.
Many times people need to blame the victim of suffering to convince THEMSELVES that they are somehow above suffering. What will you say when you get sick and your body begins to fail? It will, you know.

Prov. 3: 11
11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
Consider in the Old Testament the book of JOB. He lost everything and remained faithful. Because of his faithfulness not only did every thing he lost come back to him (like 5 fold.) but even his sons and daughters who were killed came back as well. (7 sons, 3 daughters)
God judges no man of the flesh. In Him you find love perfected.
