The value of a person is so great that God himself would die on a cross in their place. True greatness is giving up your life for people who hate you and asking for their forgiveness while it happens.

--HERE ARE some qualifications about Christ Jesus that noteworthy individuals exclaimed:
*** gt The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived *
--The historian H. G. Wells said that a man’s greatness can be measured by ‘what he leaves to grow, and whether he started others to think along fresh lines with a vigor that persisted after him.’ Wells, although not claiming to be a Christian, acknowledged: “By this test Jesus stands first.”
--Alexander the Great, Charlemagne (styled “the Great” even in his own lifetime), Napoleon Bonaparte were powerful rulers. By their formidable presence, they wielded great influence over those they commanded.
-- Yet, Napoleon is reported to have said: “Jesus Christ has influenced and commanded His subjects without His visible bodily presence.”
--By his dynamic teachings and by the way he lived in harmony with them, Jesus has powerfully affected the lives of people for nearly two thousand years.
--As one writer aptly expressed it: “All the armies that ever marched, and all the navies that ever were built, and all the parliaments that ever sat, all the kings that ever reigned, put together have not affected the life of man upon this earth as powerfully.”
--. Answering such skeptics, the respected historian Will Durant argued: “That a few simple men should in one generation have invented so powerful and appealing a personality, so lofty an ethic and so inspiring a vision of human brotherhood, would be a miracle far more incredible than any recorded in the Gospels.”
-- The reference work The Historians’ History of the World observed: “The historical result of [Jesus’] activities was more momentous, even from a strictly secular standpoint, than the deeds of any other character of history. A new era, recognised by the chief civilisations of the world, dates from his birth.”
Yes, think about it. Even calendars today are based on the year that Jesus was thought to have been born. “Dates before that year are listed as B.C., or before Christ,” explains The World Book Encyclopedia. “Dates after that year are listed as A.D., or anno Domini (in the year of our Lord).”
--The New Encyclopædia Britannica thus concludes: “These independent accounts prove that in ancient times even the opponents of Christianity never doubted the historicity of Jesus, which was disputed for the first time and on inadequate grounds at the end of the 18th, during the 19th, and at the beginning of the 20th centuries.”
--NO OTHER man in all of history proved his worth and left such a mark in history that to this day can reveal any claimed greatness by any man as being of any true value, especially in God's estimation.

Oh Man! firstly you were not created by God, you a procreation of your parents and you were born. What kind of proof would satisfy you? If you are seeking physical proof then that too is available. God is Spirit and besides the whole of creation there is proof in the manifestation of God as the Man-Christ Jesus. Jesus if the physical proof of God incarnate. Unfortunately you were not there when He walked the earth in physical form but there is still the testimony of many witnesses from that time handed down through the ages. If you had never seen an elephant before and they suddenly became extinct and there were no images of them what proof would you need to believe that ever even existed? Would the testimony of 2 people be enough? What about 100? What about thousands? Education is the transfer of knowledge from one person to others. That does not make it accurate. Stop using your head and try using your heart. As Jesus said.. "Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Start living in the spirit!

The value of a person has to do with his/her kindness and helpfulness to others. How much love, joy and peace they bring into the lives of others.
A truly great person is a champion of a cause that will improve the society in which they live.
I might add that they do not have to be perfect to achieve either of these statuses.
Bill and Melinda Gates built a company that has changed the lives of hundreds of millions, maybe billions with the #1 operating system for computers in the world. They also head a 33 billion dollar foundation that pumps huge sums into programs that are intended to change our country and our world.
They are working alongside the Broad Foundation to find ways to restore education to our public schools.

First consider the source of our desire to have worth. From where does this feeling come? Two possibilities. It could come from natural external forces such as evolution and our society or it could come from God.
Evolution does not know you nor does it care anything about you. It is a mindless processes that only produces feelings. There is no reality behind the feelings.
Evolution and society grew up together. Our society uses those feelings (feelings of a need for worth) to control our behavior. And so we become controlled/enslaved by our feelings. Our noble feelings of greatness and meaning would be just a process to control us.
Fortunately, there is another possibility. If we are created beings, then I think our Creator has put those feelings into our heads to point us to Him. The greatest quest in the universe is to seek our Creator. Only our Creator, if He exists, is meaning and purpose and worth.

Sometimes I have felt that I was superior to many atleast to the people who work for us or those who have less privileges than us. But I realized that it is not so,
The same God who created me created my servants also. Job 31:15
Yes, the same God who created me, created anyone whom I would consider lower than me. So I know that I should not show disrespect to anyone cause of status or anything. Thats a person's value. Anyone stands equal before God and all that matters before God is a person's inner heart.
God's love is great. Though there are many who still don't know Him, He truly waits and receives them with open hands just like in the parable of the prodigal son.
But God's mercy is so abundant, and his love for us is so great. Eph 2:4
I dint know He loved me so much until I looked around and embraced His love. His love for His people is so true. It is true greatness to sacrifice life for that sake. Thats why God sent Jesus to die on the cross. Though He was born 2000yrs back and all have passed, I was amazed that He still heals, forgives and there for anyone who calls to Him and can give them eternal life. If God can create the life and give death, only He can recreate the death back to life.
I encourage u to read bible and talk to God and know what He hold for you. If He created you, He can surely be for you when u call to Him.

A life of virtue and respect, is an honorable intention.
But virtue is nothing until tested.
Fame fades, celebrity fame fades faster.
Wealth and power are but a moment in time.
Lasting greatness is to be found in a smile, a hug, a help of a stranger.
True greatness is to be found in honorable friendships, in teaching, in helping others.
The wealthiest and greatest are those who show compassion towards others, without condition.
Everything else is mere commercial hype and propaganda.

There is nothing great that comes from me, only the greatness of God through me.
