There isn't really that much, apart from a couple of christian fanatics who threaten you with hell and similar crap.
Just ignore those.
There's also a couple of really decent atheists which you can have a nice debate with . They can be really funny.
As for the discussion among us pagans, I suggest personal messages or yahoo 360. If you attempt to discuss through questions and answers you will: a) get a whole load of stupid, pointless or sometimes rude answers
b) get reported for some stupid, imaginary offense.

Pagans / Heathen are a natural target in a world that is largely Christian and it fair to guess that 15% of Yahoo Answers are Evangelicals since they tend to be the most vocal Christians. Pagans tread where they will - - - we expect to be challenged for our beliefs and unlike a majority of Christians we do not fear eternal damnation for going against the mob.

Peace

It is the bad Christians that are in the majority here. They seek to turn Christianity from a religion to an ideology but are too unintelligent to know the difference or what they are doing!

These pseudo-Christians go through their lives failing to realise that God is about "love and truth", not "wrath and punishment".

They are totally closed minded and against anyone who does not believe as they do.

The one thing about this site that unites us all is that none of us have a life, otherwise we wouldn't be here. Whether you're a pagan or a Christian or even a silly little Mormon, you can always come to Y!A and not have a life and that's why I'm here.

Greetings! "Religion" means to "Re Link" to a person, place, thing, event. Some "Religions" are forward moving, live in the Now, some are "dead" and only want things to stay the same, some are just power-trips. So, as a Druid, we examine the entire History of our Planet, Solar System, Cosmos, in a Macro and Micro fashion---then we look at other Dimensions, Time, and things which have not been thought of. This is the job of "deep thinkers", and every "Religion" has, or should have them. We also study the best manner to sweep the floor, tie our shoes, polish our buttons, but the Ovates take care of that stuff. /!\

Ay, because of the fundies...they spread their hate all over the place like a cancer. You just have to ignore them.

There's a few of us Asatruars here. :-) We do have some good discussions on here. There's also quite a few other Reconstructionalists and then there's many Neo-Pagans.

Pagan derives from pagus, "district limited by markers." It's like the upright of the cross of Christ. (I think this was a story his disciples made up because they were not confident that his message of love would sell. They were right. Love doesn't sell. Only fear does. So they made the story scary. The Romans probably weren't like that all the time. Tacitus was probably in on it.) The crossbeam is like those who want to keep their hands clean so as to extend them across international borders. These are the hierarchy who like to tap on furniture a certain number of times before making a decision. Therefore, the cross of Christ symbolises the business Christians' attempt to reunite these two elements of society and make a profit besides, trying to keep it all together. This is just stupidity (depends on what you think stupidity is) because according to Joseph Campbell, author of Creative Mythology, hierarchy and anarchy rely on each other for existence in a mythological society anyway. Mythology began when homo sapiens became homo necans, man the killer. It protects the interests of the guilty. This is the meaning of the mythological Christ. I think that he really did practice love and this is why he levitated back up to the clouds. The demons do that. Christ, like the prophet Daniel and the apostle John, was not using the power of the occult to keep himself going in life, so they liked him because he was not high maintenance. (They feel hyper-responsible for things that go wrong, because they are criminals themselves.)

Just make sure you realise that the hierarchy might have a different perspective but you're all living in the same mythological world. If you want to know God and Jesus, pray to a God who is not partial and does not pay attention to borders or gender.

I am a Christian and I find most pagans to be extremely polite and tolerant of other people's religions. I have no beef with them. My sister's boyfriend is wiccan and she herself is considered to be something of a Native American Shaman.

i agree Christians always try to attack free thinking individuals who refuse to believe as they do and fall into the same routine as they do and i posted a similar question to this on this site and got in trouble figure that must have been those Christians again.
