he does not

satan has the normal powers of a normal angel but his greatest power is deception. He decieved Eve into thinking she had an immortal soul and would "not die but would be like God". Most of the world's religions still believe in satan's original lie. You will find very few religions that believe YHWH who gave Solomon the wisdom to write Ecclesiastes 3:19, 20 & 9:5, and David to write Psalm 146:4 and Moses to record what YHWH told Adam at Genesis 3:19 telling us exactly what happens to us when we die. And when is the resurrection of those who are asleep in death?
Yhshua tells us at John 5:28, 29; John 11:11
And before that Daniel was told by YHWH to write Daniel 12:2. All these Scriptures expose satan's first deception that "you will not die" (Genesis 3:4) as the lie that it is!

Mankind, by believing satan's lie and turning away from YHWH has given satan the authority over all the kingdoms/governments of the earth. The Bible is clear on this issue. Please read the following Scriptures:
Luke 4:5, 6
1 John 5:19
John 14:30
John 16:11
Ephesians 2:2
2 Corinthians 4:4
Daniel 2:44
James 4:4
John 15:19
Acts 5:29
1 John 2:15
Romans 12:2
Daniel 2:44

but satan's rule over mankind is about to be brought to an end and that's why things are so bad in his world right now. please read Revelation 12:7-12

agape!

Satan is a defeated “cast away” angel, is super-human but not Devine ..having no more power than God ultimately allows (2 Thessalonians 2:6-11)

The only ruling power satan has is over the human, secular, unsaved global world. satan was stripped of his power to taunt and control people through the fear of death and eternal separation from God --> Colossians 2:15. until the Lord’s second return what power satan does have remains restrained and his foothold over God’s people is lost forever

What are God`s powers? can anyone define them absolutely?
can we really fathom the power and awesome majesty of an omnipotent being ? and what about Satan is he great as God is?
Jesus Himself gave us the clue,`The servant is not greater than his Master` satan being a created spirit could never be as powerful as the God who created him and in this we see how satan longed to be like God and fell by the very same pride and jealousy.
Of course he had great Angelic powers given to him by God but these are now greatly reduced because of his disobedience and he is not quite as powerful as we have been led to suppose, the holy name of Jesus will put him to flight every time, and he is also powerless against true faith, so we can forget all the nonsense of Hollywood films that portray an invincible enemy of God and humanity.

He doesn't have God like powers. He used to be an Angel, but his vanity and boasting, saying he was better than God, sent him to the newly created hell. He is very powerful but not a patch on God.
