There is no definite answer. The weight depends on the substance you are measuring.
A pint or cup of water will not weight the same as a pint or cup of peanuts - not that a pint of peanuts makes sense, but I trust you will understand my reasoning.

8 oz = 1 cup. A stick is 1/2 cup, 4 oz. I've been trying to find some measuring utensils that have both metric and imperial on them because I use so many foreign recipes I'm always converting.

Us pints is a liquid measuerment - a volume. It would convert to Liter (0.047323) or Milliliters (473.230)

Ounces would convert to grams (28.3495) or Drams(16)

Dry versus liquid measures
The fact that there are 16 fluid ounces (oz.) in a pint (8 oz. to the cup) and 16 dry oz. to the pound leads to all sorts of confusion and mistakes in recipes. Further, it is quite common for recipes to specify an amount of a dry substance in liquid units: a cup of chopped onions, a half cup of diced celery, etc. This is done because we typically don't keep scales in our kitchens, but we do have measuring cups.

Where this really becomes problematic is with measuring flour. The actual amount of flour in a measuring vessel will vary widely depending upon how loose or compact it is.

Ounce Equivalents and Conversions
There are 8 fluid ounces in a liquid measuring cup.
There are 16 ounces (dry) in one pound.

They don't really convert, because cups measure capacity, not mass (weight). The best measure is to use a pint jug, and measure to 16 fluid ounces (the size of an american pint).
Alternatively, use a metric measure and 1 tsp is 5ml, 1 tbsp is 15ml. I cup is 250ml.
The solution I found, however, was to go to a good cookshop and buy a set of US measuring cups and spoons.
Just remember to pack the ingredients in or the proportions won't be right.

Can't be done - You are trying to convert a measure of volume to a measure of weight.

It wouldn't work if it was a UK pint and a UK pound. I pint of molten lead is always going to be heavier than a pint of cockles.
