Does Credit card machines collect my personal info?

My friends store, got broke in to and his credit card machine/Debit machine got rip out of his counter, I used his machine couple times that week,I am afraid of ID theft, Could they get my card info from the machine, I am worry. Please help.

I don't know the inner workings of those machines but I doubt those machines store any information regarding credit/debit cards. All of the info for the transaction should be done through the phone lines that are hooked up to the machine.

To ease your mind, you should contact the card company/bank that issued the card you used in that machine and ask them about it.
