The simplest answer is to keep your mind on something else. Find some mental interests that can keep your mind busy. Solve world hunger, talckle great religious or philisophical issues, think about the wonders of the universe, make up jokes, whatever interests you.
It is also important to know yourself. Know what can set off problems for you and try to avoid them. Also know the way you think so you can catch yourself when your mind starts to drift.

There is no sure way to stop thinking about sex, but one way may work, think about your grandma or mom! Masturbation is a sure way to immediately stop thinking about sex depending upon your socio-sexual beliefs......
As stated above, another way is to have sex, but only if you are in a committed relationship, and not casually dating....
