Is America the Great harlot nation in Revelations?

I see many similarities, All the merchants, all the luxuries, al the different peoples and languages here like babel, etc etc . Well what are you opinions?

I have felt the same thing.

However -

It wasn't Nero in power as one has stated. Nero was behind the death of Peter and Paul.

It was Nero's predecessor Domintus, who was in power and had John cast away as a prisoner, for preaching the Gospel of Jesus.

Revelation 17:10 - Domintus is the one "who is"

And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

I feel “We the People” are like a frog that's been tossed in a pot of cold water, and the heat is gradually, being turned up!

However, if you put him in a pan of cool water, he's gonna feel right at home.

Then, you turn the heat on very low, and as his body adapts to the change in temperature, he's cooked before he realizes, what is happening!

This is another look at Bible Prophecy, and History, concerning the One World Government, the One World System, that will be needed "Politically" and "Religiously" in the last days, for mankind to survive.

Today, Its called "Global Unity." and the leaders of “All ” nations, are, in some way connected with, and if not connected with, are being deceived and mislead, like the rest of us!

The World as whole, is being “ Positioned ” and “ Condition ” through “Global Unity” or a “Global Community” for the rise of antichrist.

The development of which, the cornerstones were laid many years ago, and have been slowly taking shape down through time, and are seen more today, right before our very eyes!

Now, we read in the Book of Revelation, that in the last days, the world will be gathered together, in a sort of "Global Community" under the control and leadership of "One Man" who will be empowered by Satan himself.

This man is known through out the Bible as the man of peace, the beast, the antichrist, the man of sin, and the son of perdition.

In Revelation 13: 3b-4 we read… and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

The Bible tells us, that a Global Leader will arise, he will be the most attracted guy the world has ever seen, and the world will embrace him! He will be a man of peace, financially, and not militarily,

However he will become militarily powerful, for the praise to him at the time will be… Who is like unto the beast? “who is able make war with him?"

But he doesn't start out this way.

As we look around, many things indicate that we have been, and are, going through a transitional period, a type of conditioning, when it seems that something is indeed, on the way out, and something else is painfully being born.

The terms One World Government, One World System, Global Unity, or First Global Civilization is used to identify the concept of a New World Order.

Something of which all parties of the US, and the Global Community is connected to, whether they are Republican, Democrat, or Liberal. The "spirit" of Antichrist, has been on the move, and the world is being conditioned, through world policies, and agendas, for Satan’s advent.

Now, the term "New World Order" has been used by various Presidential Leaders, to refer to a "New Period of History" evidencing a dramatic change in World policy.

In the establishing of a New World Order, Politicians are subverting their own national interest for a One-World Government, a New World Order.

america is not the harlot,references of the beast and harlot usually refere to the romans and babylon. most scholars believe that revelations relates to the continuous spiritual battle between good and evil,not a future event. traces of the catholic mass can also be seen in revelations, the destruction of the old temple being replcaed by the new. another thing scholars have noticed is that the emperor nero who was respomsible for the destruction of the temple in 70 ad,name amounts to 666 in the hebrew adn the events of revelations can also be tied into this past event. some sources you may enjoy are

Second it was speaking to the people of the day and Nero's persecutions (not anything that will come in the future)

America is part of " The kings of the earth"
(Revelation 17:1-2) And one of the seven angels that had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying: “Come, I will show you the judgment upon the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, whereas those who inhabit the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

"who sits on many waters" refers to religions control over many people.
the scripture separates religion and politics.
Also, Big business is also separated. It is referred to as "the travelling merchants'.
