4.Rocky Marciano

5.Jack Dempsey

6.Joe Frazier

7.Tom Sharkey- read his profile by Tracy Callis on the cyberboxingzone website. A devastating socker and iron hard. Beat Corbett, Choynski, McCoy and most of the top heavies of his time. Just couldn't get past Jeffries and Fitzsimmons.

8.Ad Wolgast- if his hands weren't so fragile would have remained champ till Benny Leonard came along.

9.Aaron Pryor

10.Billy Petrolle- The "Fargo City Express"(the name says it all). Beat Canzoneri, McLarnin and a host of others.

Honorable Mention: Jeff Fenech, Beau Jack, Bob Montgomery, Lou Ambers, George Kid Lavigne, Fighting Harada, Ace Hudkins, John L. Sullivan. Anyone I'm missing?

Douglas, this is a really good question and I certainly agree with your list. Of course heavyweights Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, and Joe Frazier always come to mind as were their fighting styles of relentless pressure. Aaron Pryor, Harry Greb, Henry Armstrong, Stanley Ketchel, Khaosai Galaxy, Gene Fullmer, Carmen Basillio, Mickey Walker, Lou Ambers, Tony Canzoneri, Ruben Olivares, Roberto Duran were also well noted for being pressure fighters too. Here is my personal top 10:

1. Henry Armstrong
2. Harry Greb
3. Khosai Galaxy
4. Aaron Pryor
5. Rocky Marciano
6. Ruben Olivares
7. Terry McGovern
8. Joe Frazier
9. Stanley Ketchel
10. Jack Dempsey

Honorable mention: Tom Sharkey, Ad Wolgast, Billy Petrolle. Roberto Duran, Jeff Fenech, Ace Hudkins, Battling Nelson, Bob Montgomery, Gene Fullmer, Carmen Basillio, Jeff Fenech, Mickey Walker, Lou Ambers, Tony Canzoneri.

I have several on my list like:

Mike Tyson (In his prime), Joe Frazier, and Harry Greb. Now I might be wrong on these other fighters but I believe these fighters put pressure on you because they were good on the inside. Roberto Duran, Juilo Cesar Chavez, and Marvin Hagler(Yes he does apply pressure on you if you piss him off look at him vs Leonard and Hearns.)
