My bf of 2 yrs just broke up and our parents find out that we have had sex. We are planning on getting back together at the beginning of next school yr. It will be our senior yr. It is so ackward that they know and he apologized to my mom and said Im sry for violating your trust and having sex with your daughter. My mom cried, and I apologized and she said honey dont be sorry. How would you react. Oh and we still don't know how his dad found out cuz we never did it at his house.

When I was a junior in h.s. my dad walked in on me and my boyfriend having sex. It is to this day, my most embarrassing moment. He walked right back out of the house and my boyfriend RAN like hell - we were forbidden to see each other (which lasted about two weeks) and then his mom and my mom took us out to lunch to "discuss" it. We then all had to go to the gyn for birth control for me....
God just reliving it now, I cringe...

Sweetie? If your Mom said don't be sorry, she meant it because she knows it is natural for high schoolers to start having sex. Your parents are cooler than you think. You didn't violate her trust. You did what most teenagers always do. The average age back in the late 70's was 15. So, she probably just wants you to use protection. We don't teach abstinenece anymore because that is kind of ridiculous for most normal teenagers in high school. We should be trying to teach protection, protection, protection. So, when you have your first child when you are old enough, are you going to shy away from telling your mom because you can't stand the thought of her knowing there was a penis in you? That's ridiculous. Give her more credit than that and use protection. That is what she is crying about because she knows and I know you didn't use any. That is worth crying about. You aren't old enough to get pregnant or end up with a nasty STD, so reassure Mom that you are being responsible and use PROTECTION. You have way too much fun to have to be saddled with a kid like a lot of very young Mom's who end up with a baby on their hip because they didn't have guts enough to tell little boy blue to wrap his hotdog in some saran wrap. That is why your mom cried. She probably knows you are going to throw responsible sex right out the window as soon as your temporary lover says no, it doesn't feel as good. It sure doesn't feel good having a baby at your young age either. That is why your mom cries. Ask her!!!!!

Surprised that your ex got the courage to face your mom and that your mom was so understanding. Your dad may still want to kill him. It will be interesting how things go when you two get back together. I hope he knows how to duck.
