We had a couple of drinks and we really connected and one thing led to another... He did call me to go out on another date and has told me that he really likes me. I have never slept with a guy so quickly and I got caught up in the moment. Naturally I feel kindoff ashamed for doing that so quickly. My question is should I hold back now or what can I do so that this dosent become just sex? I have known him for a few years and I know that he is a sweet guy.

Well, it's not like you just met the guy...most of us do this at some point in our adult lives.

I'd say go with your feelings. If you feel like it's going to fast and you want to slow down, just tell him that. If you are ok with the sudden intimacy that's ok too, just be safe about it.

Don't feel ashamed. Feeling ashamed doesn't do anything but make you feel sh!tty and you can't change the past so just go with it.

nothing to be ashamed of. you guys are adults and you made a decision and each time you need to make a decision to have sex or not. But you knew him for years so that is not so bad like of he was a complete stranger. Relax. The answer to your question is don't hold back, rather make a new decision based on how you feel now not how you felt when you made your decision that night.

At least you knew him for a couple of years. Being friends first is the most important factor in becoming a couple. Don't beat herself up. Sounds promising.. Good luck

If you've known him for 3 years, I'm sure he knows you well enough to know this isn't just sex. Don't be ashamed, it's not like you slept with some random guy you didn't know.

Yes, you can take it slow. Being caught up in the moment is alright every once in a while. If he was your friend first, its not like he's in it for the sex.

ah, i was in the same situation!!!!

i slept with my him after a few drinks too. :) i kinda felt ashamed of myself, but its alright now. we've been dating for 8 months now and i slept with him that night and not again until about 3 months later. [the time i usually wait] its working out GREAT, and i really really love him. it seriously helped me figure out what love was. he WAITED, that means he CARED enough about me and my wishes to do what i wanted. you know its love when that happens.

GOODLUCK!

i would push away a bit, i would be afraid that he would think he's getting that on the second date as well and that maybe that's why he called back so soon. & if ya'll didn't have sex he'd probably be like uh why not? we did on the first date..
i'd also be afraid he'd be a lot more confident with himself and be really touchy/feely with me. prove to him you're just not one of those girls that does that.

You did what your instinct told you, instead of what you're "supposed to do", and I'm sure you kept the guy from becoming constricted and then going out and raping someone in frustration. If he disrespects you for it, than screw him. If only more women were like you, I say.

Shag him like it was 1984 and you where Rick James singing Super Freak. No go get busy. When you bang soon that means the fire is there now go stock the fire!
