The best thing is to look on Ebay around the world. Ebay has some great deals on used bikes. Part of the reason why it is so hard to find used rides in bikes shops now is that a better market exists for them online.

A good source is Craigslist.com. This is a website with local advertising sections for just about anywhere in the country, and there are usually dozens of bike ads in the Bicycle section.

Be careful if you shop for a bike on Ebay! I just read in Bicycle magazine that it is estimated over 65% of the bikes on Ebay are stolen or in disrepair. Be very careful of all the scammers out there!

Good luck and happy riding!
