Chicken nuggets are usually round and chicken tenders are more like big chicken strips. I like chicken tenders better.

Chicken tenders have been slice from the chicken meat, normally the chicken breast.
Chicken nuggets are bits and pieces from the light and dark meat that have been re-formed into bite sized pieces.

Tenders are strips, usually made from 'tender' chicken breasts, while nuggets are chipped up chunks of whatever piece of chicken... (although McDonald's & Wendy's try to make theirs sound good by at least only using white meat...)
