We either want to sing, dance, or something else. My friend thinks we should get alot of people together and do the chacha slide and then I think we could do half of that and then break it into a remix...but she thinks that would be too complicated...
so now we dont know what to do. Help, give some helpful advice, or whatever!

well i have done a lot of talent shows in my day. this is what i can tell you.. a show with two or three dedicated people is much better than 20 people bumping around on stage.

Also be creative.. mix the chacha slide into your own choreography!

How about the "We're a couple of swells" routine by Irving Berlin - as sung by Judy Garland and Fred Astaire in the movie, Easter Parade. It's an easy song to learn, classic musical theater, costumes are cheap and your grandmother will digest it well - as will your preacher and your teachers.

Is it Cool? Well, I suppose if you're someone who has to follow the flock and lypsynch to some plastic-barbiedoll-candy-cake chickie, I suppose it isn't.

However, if you're cool enough and brave enough to be different from every other American Idol wannabe, it will bring down the house.

How about an American Idol skit? You can have the 3 judges. Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Reggie Jackson. Get someone who cannot sing. Have him pretend he thinks he's good, and Simon could say in his British accent, "That was horrific !!" It could be a really funny skit. And the good singers could show off their talents too.
