well, i think you can feel stretched and weary and emotionally spent. it can be really easy to feel low spirited and because energy is low as well the tiredness can feel like depression. decide to treat yourself after work with something you enjoy and can look forward to, even if it's just a chat with a friend over a glass of wine or something. if you have a family at home when you get home, make sure you have some time for yourself so that you can do a system reset that pulls your attention from the day's work focus toward the things in life you enjoy. i have a great golden retriever named Chess and he's a joy. we watch DVDs together and discuss the day over popcorn and a cold beer when i get home.

Perhaps it's not depression-you are probably just tired-take a long bath with bubbles and just lie back and relax. One stressful day at work should not be called depression, unless I've missed something here.
