Jehovah's' Witnesses are true Christians who base all their beliefs only on the Bible.
Many people misunderstand or deform intentionally what Jehovah's Witnesses teach.
The Bible says that only 144,000 men and women have a heavenly hope. They will rule with Jesus as kings, judges, and priests over mankind. They are called "little flock".

"However, YOU are the ones that have stuck with me in my trials; and I make a covenant with YOU, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom, that YOU may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones to judge the twelve tribes of Israel." -- Luke 22:28-30

"And they are singing as if a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to master that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth." -- Revelation 14:3

"And they sing a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth."" -- Revelation 5:9,10

"Have no fear, little flock, because YOUR Father has approved of giving YOU the kingdom." -- Luke 12:32

The Bible also speaks about a "great crowd" who will live forever on an earthly paradise.

"After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands." -- Revelation 7:9

"For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." -- Psalms 37:9-11

"With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." -- Revelation 21:3,4

Who goes to heaven or not is up to Jehovah. While we do feel that 144,000 humans will be in heaven, this is not the hope the majority of us have. Consider Jehovah's original plan was for man and woman to live forever on a perfect earth.

You're missing the point.

144,000 = "little flock" bought from the earth to be co-rulers in heaven with Jesus.

The rest of us = "great crowd" will be living down here on earth to time indefinite.

"RECRUITING?" = sharing the good news of God's kingdom to people. (Isn't that what Jesus commanded his followers to do?) If the people respond to the good news, then they are blessed with "accurate knowledge of the one true God, Jehovah, and his purpose." The blessing also includes the "real life" that is waiting for anyone who wants it. You too can grab it for yourself.

Jehovahs Witnesses preach what the Bible teaches.
Rev.14:1-4 speaks of 144,000 who wil be taken from the earth. These ones will rule as kings and priests with Christ in the heavens over the earth.
This is what the Bible teaches, not what we claim.
Jehovah's Witnesses go and preach to people whereever they can be found in obedience to Jesus command found at Matt.28:19,20 where Jesus said to his disciples to "go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations....teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you..."
Those who listen and became one of God's people will have the wonderful hope of everlasting life on a paradise earth. Those who chose not to listen or obey will face destruction.(Ps.37:9-11,29)

The preaching work is performed because Jesus commanded it, not because it benefits Jehovah's Witnesses personally or as a religion. As a side point,

Actually, Jehovah's Witnesses expect that many thousands of the 144,000 have never set foot in a Kingdom Hall or read 'The Watchtower'.

The fact is that the vast majority of Witnesses hope to enjoy life ON EARTH forever, rather than in heaven. Jehovah's Witnesses understand heaven to refer to the dwelling place of spirit creatures such as Jesus and the angels. They understand the Scriptures to teach that exactly 144,000 humans will join Christ Jesus as kings and priests to administer God's Kingdom (which will soon replace all earthly governments).
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
(Revelation 14:1) Lamb [Jesus] standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand
(Revelation 20:6) they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him

The men and women who make up the 144,000 are selected by God from among two thousand years of Christians. Over whom will they rule? Over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”

Hell is NOT someplace/something mankind needs to fear; there is no suffering in the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

Almighty Jehovah God selects those few who have the heavenly calling. Each person "feels" his own hope and each person's hope remains unquestioned by his fellow Christians. Still the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%*) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]

ANOTHER COPY AND PASTE QUESTION. SO HERE'S A COPY AND PASTE ANSWER. WITH A NEWLY CREATED PROFILE TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE YOU'RE NOT REALLY SOMOENE ELSE.

This question is getting old. Before asking a repeatedly dumb question, look up the answers to the past ones or look the answers on the watchtower web site. You know fully well the reward is everlasting life on earth. Those who go there will be servants to oversee man. Here’s 25 of them, there is another 60+ in just the last six months, if you care.

This one tries to say that the 144,000 have the mark of the beast.
