A place of worship. Its where association and love is.In a place of worship (where the worship place is organized instead of coming worshipping and leaving) it is very satisfying,a place of worship is always a peaceful enviroment,it feels like you are away from the rest of the world and you could stay there forever (thats me personally).Often times we may get into "unworthy" conversations or cover ourselves with the bonds of our material condition but in place of worship, its as if your only goal in life is to attain the highest perfection.Although god is everywhere,as humans we are social beings,it is more easier for us to worship along with the people who are friends, family and associates,we feel a sense of brotherhood/sisterhood.

It is the question of concentration. You get the concentration at the place of worship early because in your mind it is believed that this place is more holy.
Moreover the environment at the holy place is very purified since people come their with purified mind without any malice which ultimately charge the atomosphere around this place. If you have a sperate place of worship at your home you may experience the same solitude there.

God says to go and be by yourself so that you are not praying for others to see but for God. I prefer to keep it between me and God at home in private. Don't get me wrong though where ever you pray is a good place to pray as long as God is in your heart when you are doing it.

1. I thought that wherever people pray, that is the place of worship.
2. The Bible admonishes believers to go into your closet and pray for God knows what you need before you ask, furthermore, do not pray in the streets with great fan fare like the whachamacallems for they have their reward by getting the attention of baffled crowds looking at a guy mumbling to himself like he had a real call phone instead of talking into his thumb with a finger poked in his ear.
3. Why do you need to pray at all, doesn't god have it all covered with his omni thing. Omni this, omni that.

Definitely place of worship. As a nature-worshiper my church is the forest, so I am blessed to be able to worship in the presence of my deity. Besides, I am in the church that the Creator built, not by the hands of man.
I honor Nature in nature, home just isn't the same, although I do have favorite outdoor locations around my home.

I like both - and there are definite and important times for both. To "pray in the closet" as we are instructed, is an important time because God says He speaks to us in the quiet times, and we have to be quiet to listen. But when you are with your church family, which is also important, there are a body of believers all together. There is a lot of SPIRIT in one place, a lot of POWER, asking the Lord to intervene. One person, one Spirit - many people, much Spirit - it can get pretty powerful. My church isn't too much of a peaceful (in the sense of quiet) environment though - we are a Spirit filled church and we get pretty happy (and loud) about it.

I pray both at home and church, but prefer church. It is more spiritual. I do prayer the Rosary everyday; sometimes in church, sometime at home, sometimes in the car, and sometimes while on a walk. But, even when you burn incense and play chant music at home, it still isn't the same as the atmosphere of a church. They only thing thar compares in the deep woods and God's natural beauty!
In all actuality, the whole world is a church (or mosque or temple, if you prefer).
