Mosley was in camp mimicking Floyd's style and getting Oscar prepared for the fight, will that really have any bearing on the outcome of the fight?

THE BETTER YOUR SPARRING PARTNER IS, THE BETTER U ARE PREPARED FOR YOUR OPPONENT.

I'm sure it will help somewhat, but you have to remember that Shane and Floyd are two different individuals. While Mosley is mimicking Mayweather's style, Oscar is still not dealing with the actual decision making and speed of a slightly faster Mayweather.

It will be a different fight when Oscar gets into the ring with Floyd. All Oscar can do is hope the sparring works.

It can't hurt to have a guy with Shane's ability helping you prepare for Floyd. Still, it's only prep work. On May 5th when the bell rings we will know. I think psychologically it will be in the back of Floyd's mind, but it shouldn't make a big difference during the fight. Sparring isn't quite the same as actual combat. If Floyd doesn't get careless, his speed should give Oscar trouble, somehow I just can see DeLaHoya out pointing Mayweather. We will know soon enough. Great Quesiton.

I think if anything that was the best thing Oscar did. Shane is a good person to prepare him for Floyd because Shanes style is slick and he has good handspeed. I still think Mayweather will be able to beat Oscar.

It would help but not enough, Oscar had the same problems when he fought shane, when sparing with a quick guy who isn't as quick as the guy you are fighting then it throws you off a bit, Shane is slower than Floyd even though the DLH camp might not want to believe it

Oscar is going to beat Floyd regardless, but i sure doesn't hurt to have a fighter like Mosley helping you prepare. It will make Oscar time Floyd better and be able to deal with his speed and quickness better. Oh my god! I can't hardly wait until May 5! It can't come quick enough for me! Floyd and his big mouth will be silenced once and for all!!

mosley is nowhere close to floyd. he was ok, but he's not floyd. i say floyd wins this easily. his speed is far more superior than oscar's and you can't hurt what you can't hit. remember young beats old in 99% of the boxing world.
