someone told me that the output on the inside was burn up, and it needs a new one...how much would it cost me to get it fixed if this is the problem?

You need to take it to a repair shop and they are the only ones that can give you an estimate.

These days, unless something costs more than $300 to buy, it is not worth fixing. Most shops ask for $50 to just open it and tell you what is wrong + parts and labor to fix it.

In your case, it could be a speaker cable that came lose, a broken speaker, or something else.
