Yes, you can mentally agree that Christ died for you, but unless you turn away from your sins, accept His atoning Sacrifice, and change your ways, you are still lost.

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Clearly there is a difference between merely feeling sorry about your sins and turning away from them in true conversion.

Yes because he actually lived for our sins. His teachings are how to stop our suffering not his death. Other wise why would he say "go and sin no more." If all you have to do is believe then why should anyone do anything good or follow his teachings.? Because the truth is He never said he died for our sins He said those who Believe in me and believing means following his teachings. For the original teachings of Christ before Constantine changed and omitted so many things google gospelofthenazirenes.co You will be enlivened and enlightened at the original new testament.

Did you know that in islamic belief people are not born with origional sin. Everyone is born with a clean slate. How can you not accept islam. God's final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through Gabriel. Muhammad got the last mesage from god. How can you still be lost?

To you that probably sounded like crap. But not to 1/5 of the world. My point is stop pushing your religion. You can't even prove Jesus existed without resorting to the bible.

*Yes* the Bible says that even the demons believe and tremble.

You have to Believe, Repent and be Baptised to enter into the race that Paul speaks of...

to finish the race you must continue in the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ...

And before anyone asks...Yes! The Bible says we are safe in the hand of God, no one can "take" us out of His hand, and I agree, but...

We can choose to leave His hand of our own free will and the way we do that, is to Stop Living for Jesus.

1 John 5:16-18 (NLT)
16 If you see a Christian brother or sister sinning in a way that does not lead to death, you should pray, and God will give that person life. But there is a sin that leads to death, and I am not saying you should pray for those who commit it. 17 Every wrong is sin, but not all sin leads to death.
18 We know that those who have become part of God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot get his hands on them.

Hebrews 3:12-15 (NLT)
12 Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.
13 You must warn each other every day, as long as it is called “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.
14 For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
15 But never forget the warning: “Today you must listen to his voice. Don’t harden your hearts against him as Israel did when they rebelled.”

2 John 7-11 (NLT)
7 Many deceivers have gone out into the world. They do not believe that Jesus Christ came to earth in a real body. Such a person is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Watch out, so that you do not lose the prize for which we have been working so hard. Be diligent so that you will receive your full reward. 9 For if you wander beyond the teaching of Christ, you will not have fellowship with God. But if you continue in the teaching of Christ, you will have fellowship with both the Father and the Son. 10 If someone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don’t invite him into your house or encourage him in any way. 11 Anyone who encourages him becomes a partner in his evil work.

Jude 5-7 (NLT)
5 I must remind you—and you know it well—that even though the Lord rescued the whole nation of Israel from Egypt, he later destroyed every one of those who did not remain faithful. 6 And I remind you of the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them chained in prisons of darkness, waiting for the day of judgment.
7 And don’t forget the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with sexual immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and are a warning of the eternal fire that will punish all who are evil.

Here are just 3 out of many hope it helps.

Sure, because this world is still ruled by satan. When satan was tempting jesus, he said of all the nations of the eath " all these i will give you if you bow down and do one act of worship tome" Matthew 4:8,9; Luke4:5,6. Satan is the ruler of this world, and of this system of things 2 corinthans 4:3,4. So jesus died as a ransom for our sins tht we inherited from Adam and Eve, and only after armageddon will his sacrifice be fullfilled. So, we are still in a sad state as humans, but we have the hope of ressurection and everlasing life.

Jesus was executed by the Romans in the manner that was reserved for rebellious slaves. All 3000 of the surviving members of the Spartacus slave rebellion was put to death in this manner. Jesus was an anti-slavery activist and organizer whose followers spirited escaped slaves to freedom beyond the frontiers of the Roman Empire for some 300 years, until Constantine devised a means of neutralizing them by creating christianity and making Jesus it's deity. "Jesus saves" at that time meant that the followers of Jesus would save them from slavery. The Romans bastardized it into meaning "saved them from freedom" because it was an expression that was too common to try to suppress upon the creation of christianity as a control method for Roman slaves. "Sin" is any and every expression of human freedom.

Yes because Christ did not die for your sins hon. Christ was risen to God before crucifixtion, and Judas was killed in his stead...This is the Islamic belief...
If you feel lost, pray to God, not to Christ. Christ was a prophet here to deliver a strong but misheard message, and that message was to Deliver your burdens unto God himself, pray to God, humble yourself before God and He will lift the burdens off your shoulders and allow you to walk free.
Christ said many times over and over again that he was Not the Messiah, not the Son of God but the Son of Man, but because of his miraculous gifts bestowed upon him by God, he was elevated in the peoples mind to be the Messiah.

If you are searching and not finding answers to your questions, if reading the bible you find yourself asking more questions, I invite you to read the Quran. I felt as you did for a very long time, so I decided to do some research, to explore other religions, and I read the Quran. It confirms that which came before, in the Bible and the Torah, and reiterates the message that all the prophets before Jesus and Muhammed brought to man.

I hope you find your way my lost brother.
Assalamu Alaiykum (Peace and Blessings upon You)

Well yes. We can know that Jesus died for our sins, but unless we ask Him to save us and forgive us, then its a moot point. Knowing something and applying it to our lives are two different things. I really can't give you a ref, its just knowledge from reading the Bible and going to church and soaking up His word.

God can raise a man to life after his passing. Jesus (the son of the living God) saved me and I've sinced been changed from a fleshly human doing what what would kill me eventually before I could see the world. Into depending on a God who has giving a man life after passing through death.
