everybody likes british accent, england, scotland, english soccer teams, harry potter, etc. why???????????

I dont know..I dont like brittish accent very much..maybe because they like united kingdom better??

As far as caucasion-Americans are concerned, there are quite a few of us who trace our roots back to the UK, and I believe that people tend to take interest in the countries where their last names and their heritage originate from.
Personally if I was to visit Europe, I'd be inclined to want to visit Italy, and the UK because those are two countries where I drawl a lot of my heritage from. I'd want to spend time in places that my ancestors came from.

This has always made me wonder too. I think the British were for so long the kings of the sea that we all hold a secret deferment to them.

The UK is so much more refined and they haven't the issue of derision there that we have here.
