I'm a High School Junior and here lately, I've been forgeting things. Like in class, I can't seem to do certain math problems and all. My parents may request for Special Education Evaluation. I want to know if Crossword Puzzles or Word Finds increase the Brains Mind or whatever. If so, what are some good Crossword Puzzles out there. I've never tried them before. Only Word Finds.

Thanks

Go to the grocery store - look in the magazine section, or among the magazines by the check-out counter. That is a good source for crosswords or word finds.

Crossword Puzzles are thought to be an excellent brain exercise to help your brain work better, and to keep the mind sharp into old age. I hope you like doing them.

Some of us are good at math, and to others of us math is one of life's mysteries. Look at the areas you are good at and concentrate on them.

When some people (like me) bump their head hard, or are experiencing depression, there can be difficulties in making decisions, functioning, reasoning, speaking, math, and memory.
Consider seeing a Dr. to make sure this is not the reason for your problems. When the problem is treated, some of the symptoms go away.

I have been able to work at a video game each day, it has been very helpful to restore my concentration and memory. (And I'm probably older than your mom!)

They did a study and found that people who did crossword puzzles consistently almost never suffered from Alzheimers. So I think it's a good idea!
